If a church takes its parishioners money and spends it on fancy buildings and fountains and the preacher is wearing fancy suits instead of putting those donations back into the community I like to imagine sky daddy's thumb coming out the clouds and smooshing that building. In America some of the churches that televise their worship pay professional singers to sing in their choirs. My cousin is an opera singer in LA, that was a good regular income for him. Meanwhile preachers in Africa sell their own holy 'elixirs' they promise cure all ailments out of their churches after their service...

In the US, it's established that winning the popular vote doesn't determine the presidency. Well, there *is* a way to cure it, and make it stick, but you won't like it. It'll take time (about three generations at a minimum), money, lots of hard work, immense amounts of political will, and some tough choices. Rebuild the nation's educational system from top to bottom and fund it adequately. Stop using private schools, vouchers, charters, etc. as ways to tear down public schools. Teach logic and critical thinking, rigorously. MASSIVELY invest in mental health care for all Americans and work to remove the stigma from getting help. Forgive student loans and make advanced education open to anyone without a lifetime of debt. Keep that program running properly until the youngest Americans when it was started have died of old age. That's the only way Moron-orrhea is going away. Sound like too much work? Sorry, no shortcuts.

I would agree with the first statement, except that the victims of these "challenges" are mostly naive kids and kids are stupid. We all were. Maybe some were smart enough to know that detergent could hurt or kill you, but not smart enough to understand that cinnamon, despite being 'food," could actually suffocate you if inhaled. I don't know, who is more of the idiot, the person that can't really afford a house going in getting a zero down, interest only loan on a house, living in that house until it is repossessed. The video I saw on TV of a spring breaker getting arrested while 150 tiktokers had phones glued to face in anticipation...then one of them opened the cop car door, boy went running, and the entire herd of teenagers went charging down the beach with him like a flash mob. Maintain a healthy dose of scepticism folks, don't agree with something just because certain people are shouting it from the rooftops.
