Seth Rogen Decides To Watch “Cats” While In Quarantine, Gets High, And Writes A Review
The coronavirus lockdown has been on for long enough for some people to begin feeling bored to tears. In turn, this has called for creative ways to fill that void with random activities.
While some decorate their houses using Christmas decorations, others dress up in T-Rex costumes and go outside when there’s a nationwide quarantine. Yet others, like Seth Rogen, decide to stay at home, get high, and watch the musical Cats while tweeting his reaction to it in real time.

Actor and comedian (among many other things) Seth Rogen began making headlines recently for live-tweeting his first impressions of the 2019 musical Cats. However, there was a twist—he was watching Cats whilst under the influence of marijuana. For nearly two hours, the world received updates as to what Rogen’s first experience with the musical was practically scene by scene.
Rogen’s comments range from him criticizing the attire to laughing at how ridiculous the actors’ movements are to simply explaining what’s literally going on in the film. All filtered through the prism of being high.
All in all, Seth described Cats as being “truly trippy,” and people can’t agree more, as that is how the musical was initially received by the audience—and those who saw it said that with a sober mind

Cats is a musical fantasy film released in late 2019. It is based on A.L. Webber’s stage musical of the same name, which was in turn based on T.S. Eliot’s poetry collection Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats.
The film is considered a commercial failure for not reaching its estimated $100 million budget in sales. Many have come to criticize it for the poor CG work, the plot, and the overall tone, calling it one of the worst films of 2019.
Even though the movie was a flop, people loved Rogen’s reaction to it. Many expressed that this is some of the best celebrity-driven quarantine entertainment so far. Some said that this is exactly how they felt when they first watched it, except they weren’t high.
One fan joked that the way Rogen watched the musical is the only way you can actually watch it as the film turned out to be bad, according to critics.
