All around the world, residents, and staff of senior care homes have been under lockdown to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Naturally, in times like these, when most means of communication are limited, boredom can easily kick in. For this reason, Robert Speker—an activities coordinator at a care home called Sydmar Lodge in England—got creative to cheer up the residents, and his latest activity quickly went viral. He came up with an entertaining idea of a photoshoot recreating classic album covers with Sydmar Lodge's residents and staff, which he later shared on his Twitter account.
Talking to the Jewish News, Robert said: "I did the project to make them happy and I think the models' families have enjoyed it, with even grandchildren posting about their grandparents, but the risks of Covid means they could be in lockdown for a long time and I want to make it a good time."

I love this and I wish there were more of them. My mom's in a nursing home and I haven't been able to see her since the first week of March, they locked down by the second week in March because they didn't want what happened in Washington state to happen there. I'm glad they did it to protect the residents but I can only call I can't see her and probably won't until next year with the way things are looking now. This is a brilliant idea and I adore it.

I know, Skyppe has been a lifesaver, but I miss my mom's hugs. At the same time, she got to take a tour of my and my daughter's homes and see our pets, which couldn't have happened otherwise, we never thought of doing that when we could go see her.

A lot of these would've been their generations music. The lady with David Bowie was likely in the disco or club when that album came out. Awesomeness

Yes, and it hit me that Bowie would've been 73 himself this past January, had he lived.
