Are people so used to taking pictures of their faces on their phones, that they can't tell the difference from what they see in a mirror?

Do the left one is with the front camera, and the right ones are with filters? Most of them have barbie like skin.

I don't get this article at all. They're saying, "this is me close up and this is me backed up a little"? People don't have their faces so close to the camera either!

WHO ARE ALL THESE GORGEOUS PEOPLE. I'd never look like this in a million years. And I still don't know what they mean in how to hold the camera properly.

That's basic photography. A wide angle lens is rarely flattering for portraits. Photographers (reals ones, who use Dslr or mirroless) use a small tele lens to avoid the fisheye effect. I;m amazed that people seems to discover this.

So...good looking people getting more good looking when they take the filters away?! Great! Next I will go look at how people who win the lottery spend all of their money. Then I will go look at how people who don't have to work anymore spend all of their time. And THEN I am going to look at people making delicious food that is not available to me. I like the ones on the left better in most cases! They look like they have cute baby faces.

Most of them have used filters for the "after", so none of them look like them for real. LOL

My camera doesn't let me zoom in on a selfie --- unless I'm doing it all wrong.

Yes... selfie cameras are quite wide-angle, which distorts the image. This is why ~80-100mm lenses are used for portraits, it gives a mostly natural perspective at a size of a face.

Thank Goddess I'm unattractive! I'm serious. I know what I look like and I accept that fact and I'm quite happy about it. Being an attractive person seems to be a lot of work/pressure/worry and who the hell needs that in life?!?

It makes you wonder how some people even recognise eachother from apps when photos are so heavily filtered.They would make Freddie Kruger look handsome
