They're both wrong. There are no absolutes in these things-

the bottom image needs to be reversed. rebel flag under red ellie and rainbow flag under donkey, imo.

The main way this European sees American elections is absolutely continuous. They campaign for literal years, vote for months on end, someone wins and then the campaign seems to go again for the next one.

So Europeans see US elections as the democrat party vs the democrat party?
