My foray into street photography began without a defined purpose but also served as a means to deal with my excess shyness. This genre is simple in concept—the streets provide everything—yet unforgiving in execution. Sometimes, the perfect moment vanishes in the blink of an eye, but despite the challenge, it remains captivating.

While aesthetics alone were once my only focus, I'm now captivated by the unexpected interplay of elements and the raw expressions of daily life.

To preserve authenticity, I avoid direct interaction; posed shots lose their magic. While classic techniques, like pretending to be looking elsewhere or sneaking in from the side, work well, vast, sparsely populated streets like the ones here in LA pose a challenge for close-up candid photography.

The minute I hit the shutter button, I try to silence my logic and quiet the inner noise of daily thoughts. I want my instinct to drive my actions: how to frame, what to focus on.

Street photography has been a journey of discovery for me. Beginning with long lenses, I've progressively gravitated towards wider angles, seeking closer proximity to the subject.
