Secret Jar is a mysterious workshop run by Russian craftswoman Anna. Come by and you will find an essence of magic inside: here are beautiful jewelry, wooden boxes to keep marvels and whimsical creatures guarding it all.
Anna says that the life in the countryside inspires her most, ‘I live quite far from the noisy and dusty city of Moscow, so I can enjoy the beauty of blooming gardens and peace of the forest located nearby. I find the atmosphere very inviting to crafting and art.’
All the brooches and earrings are handmade and created of polymer clay, organic crystals and gemstones. The boxes are decorated with the pyrography technique and seem to be created for witches and warlocks so they could keep ingredients for magic potions — little mandrake roots, herbs and poisonous mushrooms. But what amazes me most is a bunch of fairy spirits. Slavic forest Auka is made of felt and likes kindly mocking at guests. Woolen Icci, keeper of the mountain caves, is very calm and dreamy. And Fly Agaric Boy likes playing with little plush Flowering Bulbs. Come closer and you will see it all with your own eyes!
