I Turn People Into Creatures From Another World By Drawing Faces On Their Backs

I am a photographer who plays with the ordinary and deconstructs it to reveal another perspective.

I take advantage of the immediate surroundings, often photographing close friends and family members in their own living spaces.

My project “Secret Friends” are about playmates, reflections, villains, strange and wonderful creatures from another world, the kind that children create when they’re alone.

I wish I had nightmares with those creatures!! I would feel like im in some sort of secret Tim Burton film!! They are soo cute in the weirdest way! I love them!!

They are called "secret friends", not "aliens". I think the name "secret friends" conveys the idea and actual beauty behind this project much better, which is why the artist chose it. I know her.

Yes! Bored Banda, it's not cool that you changed the name to 'aliens' and wrote it in first person like if it was me! Pls change it back to Secret Friends.

The more I look arty then, the more normal they become. By the time you scroll to the bottom, you totally accept these secret friends as their own species.
