Liz Y Ahmet is a UK-based, self-taught artist who creates portraits of women from hundreds of scribbled lines. What looks chaotic and even a little bit messy at first glance, with the talented hands and creative mind of this contemporary artist, emerges into perfectly detailed, expressive, and dynamic portraits. It's amazing how looping and scattered lines we used to draw as children can convey such strong emotions.
Liz Y Ahmet has worked in various mediums experimenting with pencils, pens, acrylics, and different techniques to develop her unique style, which is regularly spiced up with new ideas.
"In the past, I was never good at verbalizing my feelings and used to get depressed. I found that the more I created for myself, the better I felt, and the artwork improved too! Having gone through some tough years, I used art as therapy and focused more on myself. My portraits are all female because I am, and some are portrayed mask-like because I hid my problems/emotions from work/family. The faces are a chaos of emotions, which is where the scribbles evolved from. And I like to try different mediums because I don't like my art to stagnate, but want to keep things fresh and exciting," the artist told Bored Panda.

Liz Y Ahmet, please get yourself and a portfolio of your works to a decent gallery as soon as you are able to go out and about again. Your work is phenomenal and with the right marketing from art professionals, you will easily be able to sell your work and live very comfortably. Thank you for sharing your talent
