Ben creates very simple but detailed pictures. You can understand the idea behind the illustration immediately. The artist uses colors, shapes, and patterns to point out what's important in the picture. Ben likes to use silicates to create an illusion effect. He also creates surreal pictures, like an astronaut battling the constellation of Taurus. The artist also takes classic paintings and statues to give them a little twist.
Ben has a specific sense of humor. He often takes popular characters from TV shows or movies and puts them in a funny scenario. Like the farting little mermaid, or Bruce Banner hulking out while sleeping and breaking his bed. The artist puts a sarcastic twist on his illustrations, often commenting on our society and the world we live in, from political ideas to ecological problems.
