Sacha Baron Cohen Claps Back After Rebel Wilson Calls Him An ‘A–Hole’ And Writes Chapter About Him In Memoir
Sacha Baron Cohen fired back at former co-star Rebel Wilson after she made a bold claim against him and called him an “a–hole.”
Years after the two stars worked together in the 2016 movie ‘The Brothers Grimsby,’ the Australian actress revealed that she dedicated an entire chapter to Sacha in her upcoming tell-all book, ‘Rebel Rising.’
“I will not be bullied or silenced with high priced lawyer or PR crisis managers. The ‘a–hole’ that I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is Sacha Baron Cohen,” Rebel wrote on her Instagram Stories on Monday.

Rebel’s words pushed the Borat actor’s spokesperson to release a statement about the “false claims” made by his former co-star.
“While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby,” the spokesperson reportedly said.
The Australian actress claimed in the past that her co-star Sacha Baron Cohen pressured her to “go naked” for the filming of a movie and to “stick [her] finger up [his] butt”

Last week, Rebel posted a video on Instagram about working with a “massive a–hole” but did not reveal the co-star’s name at the time. She added that an entire chapter of her book was dedicated to the actor she worked with.
“When I first came to Hollywood, people were like, ‘Yeah, I have a no a**hole policy. [It] means, like, yeah, I don’t work with a–holes.’ I was like, ‘Oh yeah. I mean, that sounds sensible or logical,'” the actress said in the video shared on March 15.
“But then it really sunk in because I worked with a massive asshole, and, yeah, now I definitely have a no a–holes policy,” she added.

Back in 2014, Rebel also claimed on a radio show that Sacha asked her to “go naked” for the filming of The Brothers Grimsby. The actress added that she threatened to call their agent up and tell her that he was “harassing” her.
“Every day he’s like, ‘Just go naked, it will be funny. Remember in ‘Borat’ when I did that naked scene? It was hilarious,’” Rebel said at the time. “On the last day, I thought I’d obviously won the argument, and he got a body double to do the naked scene.”
Rebel claimed Sacha even asked her to “stick [her] finger up [his] butt” for the film’s final scene, prompting the actress to point out that this was not part of the script.
The Dictator actor then said, “Look, I’ll just pull down my pants, you just stick your finger up my butt, it’ll be a really funny bit,” according to Rebel’s claim.
I’m not exactly sure how “contemporaneous documents, extensive film footage, and eyewitness accounts” are supposed to provide solid evidence that a conversation between two people never happened. Are we supposed to imagine that because suggested action was not documented it cannot possibly have been suggested? Furthermore, because it wasn’t filmed, it didn’t happen? And last, but not least, the eyewitnesses were present for every single verbal interaction between the actress and actor? Nonetheless, this is absolutely a “she said, he said” situation. I know we’re supposed to consider the victim as she’s telling the truth, or he’s telling the truth, and start from the position of belief but then still dig into the evidence. I have no respect for Sasha Cohen Baron. I’ve never found his humour funny; I honestly suspect that he could well have gone beyond the bounds of what is respectable, respectful, and Rebel has every right to point it out and say he’s a manipulative misogynist.
Anyone relying on racist sterotypes to make lols for a living generally already has a*****e aura. Dude has not been funny or original since the 90s.
