New Hugh Jackman Coffee Ad Goes Viral Because It’s Hilariously Narrated By His ‘Frenemy’ Ryan Reynolds

A cup of good coffee in the morning can mean the difference between a grumpy superhero and a smiling actor. A commercial starring Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman is going viral and it’s none other than his longtime pretend ‘nemesis’ and ‘frenemy’ Ryan Reynolds who does the voiceover.

“The nicest [effing] coffee on Earth,” Reynolds says in the ad for Laughing Man Coffee which Jackman founded. In the promo, we see a whole different side to Jackman. One of the friendliest people on the planet in real life, he pretends to be incredibly bad-tempered while Reynolds ‘trolls’ him with his narration.

Jackman destroys his alarm clock, shouts at some kids to be quiet, and even tells his own adorable dog to go walk itself. All in the spirit of comedy, of course. Scroll down to check out the video and let us know what you think of it, dear Pandas.

The video got more than 480k views on YouTube in less than a day at the time of writing and people adored Reynolds’ commentary, as well as Jackman’s performance.

Jackman traveled to Ethiopia in 2009 where he met a young coffee farmer named Dukale who was working to lift his family out of poverty. Inspired by Dukale’s story, the actor launched Laughing Man Coffee in 2011 to provide a marketplace for farmers living in developing countries to sell their goods to consumers in the United States.

The actor contributes 100% (no, that’s not a typo) of his profits to the Laughing Man Foundation which supports community development, educational programs, and social entrepreneurs around the globe.

Jackman’s partner in all things coffee and philanthropy is former Brooklyn criminal prosecutor David Steingard. He is the co-founder and CEO of Laughing Man Coffee, as well as the Director of the Laughing Man Foundation. He and Jackman both believe that business can create positive change in the world.

And here’s how people reacted to the coffee ad

In my spare time, I'm an avid hiker and reader, enjoy writing short stories, and love to doodle. I thrive when I'm outdoors, going on small adventures in nature. People talking how Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds should together make a buddy movie. I just want to see them in a Wolverine and Deadpool movie together.
