Our homes can be our pride and joy—they can represent our personality or showcase our achievements. However, they can also stick out like a sore thumb, which would be all and well, as long as you don't let strangers get a glimpse of it. Afterwards, it's a free for all, and to some, it might even become a source of harmless fun (and maybe even essential fashion tips!)

That's exactly what an ingenious Twitter account known as Room Rater that's run by Claude Taylor and Jessie Bahrey does. It provides design tips, sharp commentary, and hilarious, if merciless, ratings of 0-10 depending on how impressive the room is. No one is spared: not celebrities, not politicians, nor ordinary folk. Room Rater was previously introduced to Bored Panda in an article by my colleague, so consider this one to be a sequel (like all good franchises do these days). And without further ado, here are 32 of the whole plethora of rooms.

As self-entitled specialists who have been rating bookcases, backsplashes, and hostage videos since April 2020, Room Rater offers fair and concise (if a bit biased, in a good way) evaluation of the rooms that grace TV and computer screens. The account celebrates successes and pokes fun at failures in an engaging way, leaving their audience earning for more!

Whether it's a missing plant or a hastily stacked shelf, nothing escapes Room Rater's eye. This might be the real testament to one's taste in decor—you'd better have an impeccable room (or have a pet or two) if you want the coveted 10/10. Pro tip: books also help.
