I do it while saying I love you, so they make the connection to the words. Now when I say it, they flop down and show me their bellies.

One of our cats was so disgusted by the arrival of his new furless sister he started peeing everywhere. After 1,5 years of trying everything and his protests getting worse we found a nice middle aged lady who took him in. It's been a year now, and he's happier than ever. Every time we come to visit him he hides from us like 'don't you dare get me back there!'
