omfg I would kill for a new washer and dryer and I'm not even old yet
Imagine winning a new refrigerator....that would be HEAVEN!
Load More Replies...She's crying because they just told her she has to pay California taxes on everything she chooses to keep, BEFORE she can actually claim the prize.
Tell me about it. I need to replace my fridge freezer. Old one is currently soldiering on with a wedge under the door to keep it closed. Had to pop-rivet another draw back together the other day.
And then realizing you don't have the $ to pay the TAXES on your prize 😭😭😭
My birthday was a few weeks back and you know what I asked for my gift? A new (used) washing machine. Was both ridiculously happy to have it, and sad that I should ever even have to ask for something that is basically a necessity to be my gift.
What is sad about that. I think having something you need as a gift is wonderfully thoughtful
Load More Replies...We saved for a kitchen remodel, but now the money is all gone. Thanks, FJB.
I just want a washing machine that doesnt wash for 2 hours and then the clothes all come out grey:/
A quality refrigerator is worth the money if you like to cook, don't eat out much and can't afford freezer burn or a 1hour power outage that can spoil your food. Our apartment sized fridge kept freezing veggies in a day or two no matter what so we bought a more expensive full size. Now I can keep fruits and veggies for 5-7 days.
A decent fan forced oven rather than 'Ol Burny McRawbottom I'm stuck with🥰
Oh, she is only crying because Drew just snapped her bra really hard. He has been notorious for doing that...
"you offered 10 grand if someone could hand me in. I caught me, so where's my 10 grand?"
My grandmother does that despite having plenty of money, she also cuts up toothpaste and lotion tubes to get it all. She is the good kind of frugal, but I still wish she'd spend more money on herself.
This is probably lots of people that get their monthly check, then gotta wait 27 more days, while begging for money from everyone (noo I wasn’t talking about MIL🤨)
I used to avoid checking my bank balance. I knew that burying my head in the sand would do me no good, but I just couldn't bare to look.
I managed to get a good paying job once, but how did my debtors find out?
What you do is turn it around and one-up them with YOUR sad story about being broke XD
We all do this, dish detergent, laundry, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, just not to be wasteful and getting your money’s worth
I wish I were rich enough that the price of beef jerky didn’t feel like a put down
Yup, that is how most of us live. The first of every month I have money transferred to my savings account and take out $50 cash. Every month I hope the money will still be there at the end of the month. But without fail there is an unexpected expense. I should be thankful I have emergency money set aside, but I feel like a failure since I cannot save. Most Americans have less than $400 saved, not because we are lazy or irresponsible; our incomes don't cover our expenses. Credit cards and loans make it even more difficult. I was forced to declare bankruptcy because of excessive medical bills. No loans or credit cards since. I watch every penny. The next generations have it much worse. Dental care is a luxury we can't afford. New, better medications aren't affordable, so again we do without. There is something very wrong with our financial system.
Watching retirement account dwindle down to scary amount. Will it last???
