Life is different for everyone and every single person has had different experiences. However, there are certain things that we relate to and almost all of us have experienced.
That's exactly what this artist, Loryn Brantz, focuses on in her colorful, silly, and funny comics. The artist illustrates everyday problems that we all run into, usually focusing on the view from a woman's perspective. Loryn also touches upon some more important topics like feminism, sexism, and other social issues. EXACTLY! It's the black people that need the attention and help right now, not anyone else. Yes, all lives do matter, but right now it's the black lives that matter most in this terrible time. That's all anyone's saying and why I find the fact that the ALM movement started.

Loryn told Bored Panda what the main goal of her illustrations is: "To make people laugh or feel less alone if only momentarily!" She describes her stylistic as "art vomit" which is quite an interesting way of describing one's art style. "Truly a little of everything – from serious issues like mental health to little observations of everyday life," she mentioned when asked about what topics she covers.

My cat Smudge has no concept of personal space. As soon as I lay on the couch she marches up onto my chest, head butts my chin aggressively, give me a bath with her sandpaper tongue and purrs her little head off. I’m stuck there for at least 20 minutes and if I try to pick her up she feels like dead weight.

Loryn tells us more about how she got into art: "I've been passionate about art and storytelling since as far back as I can remember. I can't say any one thing got me interested, it just was how it was." The artist also told us more about the most difficult part of art for her: "Probably the anxiety that comes with it potentially being seen by a large number of people. I always worry it's not funny enough or well-drawn enough etc."

"I started doing Jellybean comics about 10 years ago, and I think I'll probably do them forever! I haven't been able to draw them as consistently since my job has shifted but I think I'll always want to draw one now and then." Loryn gives some advice to people who want to pursue art or create comics: "Try to create what you would like to see in the world! Especially if that's something you're not seeing. Also, don't over-concern yourself with how it looks, art is more about what it makes people feel, and that often has little to do with technical skills."

I went to get my hair cut (I wanted everything but the top buzzed off for a variety of reasons) and one of the stylists asked my if my husband was okay with my hair cut. He was but what I responded with instead was "why should that matter? It's my head." (And to answer any questions, yes he's gotten a hair cut without 'asking me' before and while I wasn't crazy about it, he was, and I was happy for him. Because that's how it works)

Had a strapless dress in the 80s. When asked how it stayed up, the answer was "By being a bit too small" So well stuffed with body that nothing could shift. That and light supportive struts (boning) up the sides.

I once had a cat when I was around 6 or 7 that would sleep on my bed and let me wrap him up in blankets to pretend he was a baby (I've always loved kids and babies, but my mom didn't let me hold my sibs cause I was too young). When we had to give him away due to behavior issues, his brother stepped into his place.

I actually sleep in a braid bc my hair is so long it'll turn into one huge knot that takes 30 minutes to untangle. I also get waves out of it sometime, but maybe some people are different.

There's this super friendly black cat that wanders around a certain area in my neighbourhood. Like seriously, if you walk up to it, it'll not only NOT run away but it'll walk up to you and start purring and rubbing against your leg. It also likes to roll on it's back on the pavement for some reason.
