Parenting experts are everywhere these days. They’re on social media platforms, on TV, their work is published in newspapers, and their books are becoming instant bestsellers. And they all have something to say about your parenting.
Good thing that not all the parents out there are pretending to be experts. Some just tell it like it is. One of them are the viral comic sensations Yehuda and Maya Devirs.
The couple, who got famous for creating comics about their personal experiences as partners, shifted the focus of their content when they became parents. Now they’re portraying the beautiful and miserable realities of having children. And we all love it! Scroll down to see the most recent batch of their work.

That Time Of The Month
For a moment I thought she was being haunted by Elektra or Wanda Maximoff...
Parenting is quite an adventure. It has amazing highs and awful lows and plenty of fascinating moments as well as frustrating ones. The best/worst part? All these experiences can change from one hour to the next. In other words, it’s quite a ride.
Still, through it all, we’re all striving to be perfect. We all want to be that example parent who seems to be doing it all correctly. At least, that’s how we start off.
I Got You Covered
They Grow Up So Fast!
the first time my niece didn’t want to hold my hand when I picked her up after school 💥💔
My little girl has stopped asking me to carry her down the stairs at night time before bed. she said "Don't worry daddy, you can carry my babies when i have them". Nice offer but I've found a loophole... When I chase her up the stairs she goes weak laughing, when she doesn't want to be chased shell put her arms up to be carried, win/win.
My daughter was in kindergarten and politely asked me not to kiss her goodbye when the school bus stopped to pick her up. I cried walking down the hill to our house afterwards .
We want to be kind and understanding to our children and communicate with them without yelling. We want to feed them good food and encourage them to be curious eaters. We want them to read books and make every waking moment developmentally useful. And on top of all that, we want a clean house, a stable career, and a good social life.
There are some days you feel you’re doing okay. Maybe even pretty good. But then you come across a TikTok that tells you that you shouldn’t say “good job” to your kid and suddenly you feel like a failure.
Tea Party
I love how the mum’s thighs are all smooshed trying to sit in the child sized chair.
Permanent
No way would I be happy they're using my sharpies 🙃 those are expensive. Use the washable markers please 😀
It's a baby tummy, one of the cutest things ever... they don't look pregnant in real life.

There is a second comic after this, where the parents are crying about the fact that their children are both grown up enough to go to school
The truth is that we’re all bound to make mistakes when parenting. Yes, we want to make them as rarely as possible, but it’s tough to be perfect no matter what you do, and raising a human being is already not a walk in the park. The solution? Accepting that good enough is enough.
Quiet
If they would have a dog and a cat she would me hearing a all sinfonia with au au, au and miau, miau.
My cats worked out how to open my bathroom door, even when it's locked. I no longer have privacy.

I Can Do It On My Own!
never said that girls, i learned from my litle brother, theres nothing more annoying, than bother a man doing a thing you asked, only because you wanna they done faster
The idea of good enough parenting started in the '50s, when psychoanalyst and pediatrician Donald Winnicott wanted to reassure mothers that being perfect might not be the best option. He believed that a child’s needs evolved with time and not being able to quickly adjust to them was good for their development. According to Winnicott, any slip-up that a parent makes actually allows the child to learn about the external world that it might not always respond to their needs.
Home Sweet Home
Took me a few to get it, but the little unicorn and the adorable mini Hulk are the boy's toys. Now I check what they're up to in every panel. Love seeing how this comic has matured with the family over the years.
Load More Replies...That unicorn is still in my house from my childhood, except it's a very loved Tigger!!
It's Your Turn
Happy Anniversary!
Actually I just realized that we forgot ourvwedding anniversary. It is on dec 2nd
Omg!! That is an accurate depiction of our anniversary this year!! 🤣
So, let go of the guilt and allow yourself to make mistakes. Maybe lower your expectations a little. You don’t always need to be there for your child. After all, they can play on their own. In fact, adult-free independent play is good for them. It allows them to find their own pace, helps with their problem-solving skills, and boosts imagination.
The Mask
I love the little Hulk and unicorn 🦄 toys that often appear in the comics now.
Happy Birthday, Mommy!
Handyman
I love watching my Husband playing with or taking care of the kids. It just always super attractive to see him get his good Dad aura on.
There’s nothing sexier than a man standing next to me at the kitchen sink with a dish towel in his hand!
Also, remember that science is on your side. Find solace in the fact that, according to research, today’s parents already spend way more time with their children than parents did in the '60s. And when you’re in doubt about going back to work, note that children of working mothers are just as happy as the ones raised by stay-at-home moms.

Potty Training
I suppose that's ONE way to potty train. It sheds a lot of light on why men miss the bowl so frequently!
ratatat i dont know how much longer we can make them hold it

The secret is to put some on the wall and keep the rest in a folder with name, age and a small explanation to the kid interpretation. 1 kid still didn't change his perception and the other kid ask what da f*** he was painting. And the explanation/interpretation make him laugh a lot.
The little Hulk and unicorn need to be in EVERY comic from now on!
My son is in his thirties and I still have all his kindy artwork. It’s precious.
If you do make a mistake, acknowledge it. Take it as an opportunity to learn a better way. Maybe yelling wasn’t the best option and you did overreact. Maybe you didn’t show enough support or attention when your kid needed it. Apologize to your child if needed and move on with grace. This will also teach them how to deal with their mistakes.
I'm 4 Mother Father!!!
I think mother father is meant to represent something else.. (say it really quickly)
Scissoring
I don’t think there is any enjoyment in having your foot rubbed if you are rubbing someone else’s foot at the same time. You can’t just relax into it, you have to keep thinking about this other foot.
And yet they look like they're in ecstasy to me, lol! Funny how differently people see things.

We did this last weekend! Our son looks so different, and he is THRILLED that we don't have to brush/comb/style his hair anymore!
All in all, if you’re worried that your efforts aren’t perfect, you’re probably doing okay already. So, cut yourself some slack. Take it easy and maybe even laugh at your everyday realities and slip-ups, just like the creators of these comics do.
Summer Time
No...no...no...no...no
Every single time lol. I swear my gf took 10 pictures of us this past weekend for our one year anniversary and there was only one that was bad because it was blurry. We were smiling and looking at the camera in the others. 😂😜🤷♂️
The trick is to take a video of you posing and everything, then screenshot the photos. This will get rid of blurriness!!!!

There’s always that one guy at the gym who is attempting to lift way mote than he should and is straining so hard that I swear they’re going to have a stroke.
One of my friends saw something like that once; A kid around 14-16 years old came in and started curling a WAY too heavy dumbbell. After a few reps, his bicep tore itself right off the bone and zipped up to his shoulder. My friend said he had never heard anyone scream in pain like that before...
Load More Replies...Anybody notice the dumbbell "who's got the bigger pair?" shadows?
There is always that one fat guy who gets embarrassed about being at the gym, so he tries harder than he ahould
Happy Ending
Well at least he's on the right side. My husband appears to have trouble telling back from front...
Lol, she's indicating her shoulders hurt, but actually, a lot of LOW back pain comes from the glutes and muscles beneath them, as well as tight hamstrings and hip flexors (especially the deepest abdominal muscle, the psoas... Mean little mf'er)
Vacation
What is happening? Why aren't they burning and turning into boils in their entirety? Skin that should be burning isn't. Was sunblock only applied there vs everywhere?
I think they are only burnt where they didn't have clothes covering their body. Even their ring lines are a different color than the rest of their hands.
Load More Replies...So many on here never had severe sun burn. The blobs aren't boils, they're water blisters and common with sun burn.
The skin that was uncovered by clothes got burned, then, when they stripped down further to tan the rest, the previously burnt skin got more sun and turned red raw and blistered. They're oblivious and will be in agony when they wake up.
They are water blisters and they absolutely happen.
Load More Replies...Yup! Totally me too! T-shirt/shorts tan from every after-school activity!!
Playing "spot the Hulk being adorable" was my favorite part of this list!
I love this cartoons / couple. The way he paint his wife is so lovely.
Wow, you do know that people have absolutely no control over where they are born? I am absolutely appaled and deeply saddened by the Israeli government and the atrocities that they are commiting in Gaza. However, your comment is openly blaming and condoning the family in the comics just because they happen to live in Israel. Many people of Jewish faith condone the Israeli goverment and this horrible genocide that is occuring. Your comment is blaming people just for their religion and where they happen to live.
