Cat owners have a history of relating to each another through funny comics (Lunarbaboon, Catsu). One of them is Missangest or as she calls herself, the Crazy Cat Lady from Sweden. And given the fact that Missangest has been a freelance artist since 2012, she definitely knows her webcomics' stuff!
"Nils is a shelter cat that I adopted a little more than 7 years ago," the Missangest told Bored Panda about her cute cat. "In the beginning, he was a bit withdrawn and used to hide underneath the furniture just to suddenly jump out and bite your feet (behavior probably learned from his past as he used to be kicked on before he was taken to the shelter). But with time and patience, he stopped both biting and hiding. Now he's just like an adorable cat should be - the king of the house. He especially likes to sit on my lap and place his upper body over the drawing tablet while I attempt to work."
And this kind of cat logic is the reason why Missangest loves them in the first place. "They are so tiny and so fluffy, yet have the personality of a lion. They can also be rude but they are so darn cute that they keep getting away with it." Her fascination with these majestic furballs really shines through her relatable comics. "It's not something I do often, I don't want to force these comic strips so I'll just do it whenever I have any drawing ideas that I think are worth trying out.

I just had a 10 week old kitten move in and ask for adoption. She is so scared, she only comes out at feeding time. She left her mom too early or got dumped & was starving. Time will tell if this works out. If she knows how to use the litter box & wants to stay, she can stay.
We have four cats who use the litterbox. When our little epileptic cat Emmy uses it she never covers anything over. Her sister, Stevie Mouse, waits to go in after her and cover it over!
As SOON as she has a fresh little box she christens it and shakes little off her feet on the way out sigh
same. when i have a bad day, and my cat curls up in my lap and purrs, i'm convinced he rescued me
i wish i was allowed to have a pet... i need someone i can come home to.
My son's favourite toys were a broom and a wooden salad bowl😑
Load More Replies...Same with ours and the dogs - you can spend a lot of money only to see them play with the packaging.
Mine actually gets super interested lol. I have a dog as well so he probably doesn't relate dogs to ultimate enemies and if I come home smelling of another dog he'll spend forever curiosly smelling me all over then start licking to leave his own smell instead XD
Load More Replies...One of my cats (Bindy) made friends with a blue nose pitbull weighing in at almost 120 pounds. Just wanted to to share the adventures of the amazing Bindy!
For some reason I've been noting that dog people are typically extroverts and cat people are typically introverts. Idk if its just correlation without causation or if it is true? (i'm a snake person)
Well, personally, I'm a dog-person and an introvert, but I think that most of the time your comment is true.
Load More Replies...I have always had cats and just recently got a dog. I really think it depends on the personality of the owner. I have a Chug (chihuahua/pug mix) and he doesn't do any weird chihuahua stuff like yelp or shake all the time and my cats are actually louder than the dog, so while I kinda agree I really do believe it has to do with the owners.
Me too, one day I went home crying,(I think my friend bullied me.) and my little orange kitty(I forgot her name!!!!) tried to play with me.Then I went to sleep. When I woke up, my kitty had slept on my stomach, then I felt better, and hugged my cat.
Load More Replies...Absolutely, we have seen it with our cats. You have to see them do it to understand how creepy it is.
Load More Replies...I have the multiplayer home game. Four cats to one human... "Let's make her lose her sh*t" Edition. (This week 'we' are playing 'find the demon ' in the kitchen. Complete with staring at the ceiling before jumping up like they caught something in their paws.)
Sometimes I think they do this just to make us paranoid. What am I saying? I KNOW that's why they do it!
I have one that stares at walls and windows just enough to creep me out. None of the others do it.
My cats would stare at the empty darkness for hours on end. Not moving. Sometimes make that very low hissing sound. My dog does the same. I live with a maid and one time she came screaming because she saw an old woman on a wheelchair sitting by the restroom smiling at her 😥 I sleep with the animals now.
Yup, if he doesn't like it then it's his loss.
Load More Replies...My Instagram profile blurb is entirely "Beware: Cat pictures ahead". Proud to be part of this club!!
I had a Norwegian Forest Cat from the animal shelter which had too much pressure in one eye. Had to be taken out. Solved his cranky demeanour, probably no more headaches. Started out with fur in the last drawing, ended up with much better fur. Have another NFC, also from the shelter. Had an infection in one eye, now has somewhat impared vision. Both lovely cats, no problems with judging jumps. Why this tale? Please adopt cats with 'problems', too many people ignore them.
Cats, dogs, really any shelter animal will likely make a much better companion than anything you can buy. Also holds true with human relationships as well.
Load More Replies...Honesty I have no idea what most of my cats are, I just see them on the street and said: chonker. This it a chonker.
Maine coons never get manes, that's Norwegian Forests. Often mistaken for one or the other though!
Not really a fair portrayal. Maybe for the person who illustrated this. Dogs and cats need your help , they are in a prison through no fault of their own. We love the ways our animals have strops and attitude, and ugly days. Just like us .
I knew a Siamese cat that loved getting belly rubs for as long as you could go on.
We have a big black cat and he loves belly rubs! My husband will ask him if he wants a belly rub and that cat will flop down on his side. I also pet-sat a cat that was notoriously aggressive when being pet. By the end of the week she was enjoying belly rubs. It takes the right cat and the right person. Our other cat pretends she wants a belly rub but the second you try you’ve been bit or scratched.
Load More Replies...We fall for it every time we are invited in for a belly rub. Got the scars to prove it.
My cat is vice versa. Lays on her back and does not even flinch when stroked on the stomach. Does not like to be pet on the back.
Hahaha true except for my cat Taques who, for some reason, absolutely loves dogs. There are three dogs in our apartment complex and whenever he meets them in the lobby he wants to be friends. Two of the dogs are scared of him.
One of my cats is really a dog. He only plays with my dogs, begs when I'm training or playing with them, and sleeps with them. He also uses dog body language, so one of my cats plainly hate him. My other 2 cats tolerate the dogs, but they are happier when I take them out for a walk xD
Load More Replies...I don't know why, but my cats rather befriend dogs, or fight them. There is no in between.
My nephew brought his dog over to our house onse without asking first and all hell broke loose. All five of my cats went insane; especially the one we adopted that was given up because the dog of the house was terrorizing her. Nobady else has ever tried to bring their dog over since.
I love these, the illustrations are gorgeous and the cats' personality is perfectly captured and adorable!
