I Made A Recycled Workshop House, Where People Make Their Own Christmas Gifts, And It’s Free!
For Christmas this year, I and my team have built this house and everything in it from recycled materials. Every day in December we invite people to create their own recycled Christmas gifts and decorations for free. All materials used in the workshop are “trash” that we got from local shops and organisations, the volunteers who help run the workshop eat leftovers from a nearby cantine, and we even have a recycled Christmas tree.
I made this project because I think that Christmas has become too materialistic, and I want to show that Christmas presents don’t need to be something you buy, but can equally be something you make by yourself while being creative, even from other people’s trash.
