“He seeks to create a form of fictitiously realistic art that delivers a moment of wonder, silence, and introspection.”

Hans Op de Beeck’s unique art is light, gentle, and incredibly realistic. The artist uses a variety of different mediums, such as polyester, plaster, steel, glass, and wood.

They are not made from stone, but from a lot of different materials like steel, concrete, glass, polyester, wood, polyamide and finished off with a coating.

WOW! And I thought "The Kiss" from Rodin was impressive. http://www.musee-rodin.fr/en/collections/sculptures/kiss Maybe it's the textures that reminded me of it, I don't know. 784_alt_42...5e9c37.jpg 784_alt_427_8038f3676d0b54d-5b6318a5e9c37.jpg

These are awesome. But with all the fine details in each sculpture, I'm wondering if the artist chose to make the human and animal figures have their eyes closed, or if he's merely unable to make realistic-looking eyes.

So delicate. The girl on the couch is my favorite. Her blanket looks so soft. I'm curious about the why so many are topless, but not fully nude.

Creepy, subjects are innocent animals and children. Naturalistic sculptures has this negative feed to imagination that sculptor is just lazy. Here we go to meaning of word when in antique statues, sculptures middel of mass were living, living beings, goods example, the were human size or somewhat bigger and painted like citizen walking aat street that you would notice it to be statue only from close. These can be killed persons and animals and just waxed and put layer of clay to surface. I dont like, no imagination.OR dead has been used as mold.
