I have this too. It can be helpful when you have a proto-sneeze that doesn't want to come out. Look at a bright light...ah-choo!

I always sneeze exactly twice. And the very first thing my baby son did the first time the sun hit his face was to sneeze. Twice.

I have quite a few things on this list, including RH negative blood group, this sneezing when bright sunlight reflects off something, Reynauds disease, taste the soap in cilantro and several more, but also have one not mentioned here - I hear pain. My own of course . It’s very annoying, for example if I have a nagging pain and need to sleep the noise of it keeps me awake? I don’t think this is a normal thing?

This is one of the most annoying thing in the world. You walk outside on a sunny day, feeling fine, then all of a sudden 3 or 4 sneezes guaranteed! For me if I swallow after sneezing, it brings on another one.

This comes to us from our ancestors who lived in the caves. As caves are closed and surrounded, sneezing can have very harmful effects as the viruses and bacterias can spread to other people, thats why it was much safer to sneeze outside

I highly doubt your reasoning for the existence of this trait. For it to be an effective against spreading infections, the majority, not a mere 25% of the cave dwellers would need to carry the trait. As we know by the facts of covid19, it takes only a handful people to wipe out entire populations. Besides, having an uncontrollable urge to sneeze in the open sunlight would have made the cave dwelling trait carriers vulnerable to predation. So let's just accept it for what it is - just a fun human factoid.
