It’s just part of human nature when things infuriate us all of a sudden. There’s even this whole phenomenon known as “Mildly Infuriating” and we previously wrote about it here, here and here.

However, in some cases, we experience a more severe kind of infuriation that is beyond mild. You can blame anything from a car that won’t start, annoying flight passengers sitting right next to you, a surprise call from tax inspection, a morning that started on the wrong foot, or yourself, it doesn’t change anything.

This subreddit “Infuriating” is a safe place to talk about your infuriation, so no wonder its 10.1k members have already taken that opportunity.

Too active and he sheds?!? Wtf all dogs do this. Why get a dog if u wanted something that sits there all day. Get a fish next time. Or dont get any pets. If someone surrenders a dog for THAT reason, they shouldnt have a pet in the first place

There are dogs of all activities levels, and some definitely shed more than others. The issue here is the previous owner jumped into the responsibility of ownership without performing due diligence on what they could actually handle.

I've had heelers for 30+ years. They are fantastic dogs! I do admit they seem to shed about 4 times as much as any other breed but it's a small price to pay. I used to train and show them. Now they're just well trained pets. Just lost my 15 yr old blue less than a year ago. I would take this angel in a heartbeat. ❤

I had a red heeler named Meatball for 2 years. He was really aggressive to other people and protective of us but we loved him. We got him at 8 weeks and he died at 2 years this February, a month after my 18 year old cat (older than me). So sorry for your loss, I'd also take this dog in a heartbeat! ♥️

I'm glad they at least gave him up and aren't abusing him. We got a blue healer from my mom's boss. He had a german shepard and when the healer ran to get it he would kick her. She was a great dog!!

This is so true.😔 I found one of my dogs (a starved pit bull) on the interstate. If it hadn’t been in a rural area she wouldn’t have survived. I’d seen her hanging out there for almost a week. When I had the opportunity to grab her, I pulled over, got out, called to her , & she crawled to me on her stomach. It took 3 months before she would get in a vehicle with us, even with my other dog. I later found out her story, from someone who recognized her. This person’s friend adopted her from the animal shelter as a puppy & kept her tied up outside (she has SCARS & a bald patch on her neck from this!!) Apparently she kept getting loose & they didn’t want her anymore, so they just dumped her on the side of the interstate to get rid of her. Bless her heart, she stayed there waiting for someone to pick her up, I guess. They didn’t even bother taking her back to the shelter, which was less than 2 miles away!! She’s been with us for 10 yrs now, and she’s SPOILED AF. 💟

Awe... I ❤️ Cattle Dogs! I have a mix right now and the 2 before her were pure breeds. Very loving, protective and, yes, very active. They were bred to herd Cattle. They need jobs to do to keep them active and out of trouble. Poor little guy 😔

Me and my sister live together and we're both quite allergic to dogs. We have 2 rescues; one is a dander machine and the other is in a constant state of shedding. Neither of us would ever dream of getting rid of them and we have a reasonable medical issue too. Always research your pets breed so you know what to expect. It's cruel to abandon a pup just because of your own ignorance. I'd adopt this cutie in an instant; allergies be damned

So. When I got my dog she'd never lived inside before or had any toys or affection (her previous owner wanted a hunting dog and she didn't want to hunt, she wanted to cuddle her person). it was a long road to teach her to pee outside, and not to chew up everything, but she's a dog, she didn't know it was bad behaviour. I don't understand people who take on a dog and expect it to be perfect the minute it walks in the door. (Mine is still not perfect, but she's my best girl so it doesn't matter if she's a bit cheeky).

And this is the reason that people should research the breed and understand the commitment before getting a pet! There are breeds that I love but would never own because I know I can't give them the exercise/time/training that they would need. This makes me so angry!

I fostered a cattle dog for a couple of weeks. Absolutely filled with energy and I was exhausted when he went to his permanent home. Would I do it again? Absolutely. Working dogs are amazing when given the chance. I hope this lil fella ends up with acres and acres of beautiful land to run around on.

Australian Cattle Dogs are such an amazing breed..! People should do some research before they get a dog. This is extremely upsetting, and unfortunately just one of many cases. I used to volunteer at shelters, and it's absolutely heartbreaking...

It infuriates me so much when people get a dog just because "it's soooo cute" or it's "trendy" to have a particular breed. A former boss of mine married a woman who had an Aussie, then they left it inside all day while they went to their jobs. And they acted all surprised when the poor dog tore up the house. You absolutely cannot have a high energy WORKING BREED & expect them to adapt to being closed up inside all day. Working breeds need a ton of daily activity.

Over the past week Huddersfield Feral and Strays have taken in too many cats and kittens that have been signed over by their owners because they cannot afford vets bills. Should have had pet insurance I hear you all cry. Perhaps they once did but like me could no longer afford the premiums and then find the insurance doesn’t cover the cats particular problem. Vets should allow us to pay in instalments.

I don't think this is entirely bad. Would it not be better that the dog went to someone who could look after it rather than stay with people who clearly can't? Loads of people buy working dogs and leave them in little courtyards all day to bark their heads off. Better the dog has a shot at a better life.

I feel so sad for him :( People really don't research dog breeds to fit their lifestyle they just want cute or pretty dogs because they like their aesthetic. Then they don't know how to care for them and blame the dog for their breed personality traits.

I loathe people who are so vain they believe that their lives give enough scope for a carefully bred specialist dog. Cattel dogs, Malinois, Great Pyrenees - and many more are incredibly powerful and highly specialized dogs that have very specific requirements. It is insane to think that we can squeeze them into our little suburban lives without causing a host of problems. Poor doggy. I hope he found a good home!

I'm fine with this. His owners made a mistake biting off more than they could chew and then did the responsible thing by surrendering the animal they couldn't care for properly. This is much better than just leaving him in the yard or a crate his whole life.

I have only purchased one cattle dog. The rest have been rescues. People dump them just when they start to stop being pterodactyls. They are absolutely the best dogs ever. The baby just cost one couch, two recliners, three pair of shoes and random other items we left where she could reach them. 🤣🤣 All worth it. I probably will never get a puppy again, but keep rescuing 6 month to year old Heelers. Heelers just want to be with you (you are their job) They will find entertainment if you don’t provide it.

When I was at the shelter picking out my new pupper, I saw an older couple bringing in their full size, purebred poodle complete with AKC papers because they were too old to keep up with him anymore. Like, dude, they'll put him down in one week because you can't be bothered to put an ad "AKC registered FREE to good home"???

Women, don't forget that men have sex with the same organ we pee with. I mean how gross is that? The hole where the ejaculate comes out is the same hole that we pee out of. When you see some neck beard incel walking down the street, thinking that he's better than you, just laugh, and remind him of how vile he is that he uses his urethra to also convey semen into his socks. NOTE: don't actually do this, incels are dangerous
