Brian Wonderful creates comics that take everyday moments and give them a hilarious twist you didn’t see coming. His humor is sharp, a little weird, and completely relatable in the best way. Whether it’s a vampire struggling with makeup or rabbits complaining about lawn mowers, his comics find the funny side of even the most random situations.

If you like humor that’s clever without trying too hard, Brian’s work is the kind of thing that’ll make you smirk, laugh, and maybe even share it with a friend.

This is like the plot of the best episode of the X-Files last season!

Someone played D&D, perhaps? Our were-badger was a badger who turned into an unruly gent with the habit of flipping things over to look underneath. Never trimmed his nails, either.

Given the chance, Bored Panda reached out to the artist. When asked about what inspires the quirky scenarios in his comics, Brian explained, "Many of them are real-life moments that get exaggerated. Others are just weird thoughts that come to me when observing other things." It's easy to say that a mix of reality and whimsy keeps his work grounded yet unpredictable, making it easy for most readers to connect with it regardless of the place or time.

Oddly enough, that does often work! SW sometimes gets a little fussy, but the initial state after boot is the best-tested and most reliable use path.

Brian’s journey into comic-making began with his lifelong love for cartoons and comics. "I've always been a person that likes comics and cartoons, so I've always drawn. When the pandemic hit, I decided to give it a real shot and bought a cheap drawing tablet, and have been honing that skill since then." What started as a passion quickly turned into a creative outlet that resonated with a growing audience.

Among his creations, the comic artist admits to having a soft spot for poking fun at 80s cartoons. "I personally like poking fun at the 80s cartoons (especially "Masters of the Universe," which is a favorite of mine). People seem to resonate more with ones that have a bit of controversy or have something to debate about." These nostalgic yet edgy takes show his knack for sparking conversations through humor... which by now, definitely should be noticeable for you as well, Pandas.

This is why I wait until I have all the episodes, and then marathon watch them.

As for where his unexpected twists come from, Brian shared, "Mostly naturally. Sometimes I have a seed of an idea that I jot onto my list, and it takes time for it to fully grow into something usable." This organic approach allows his ideas to evolve over time, resulting in punchlines that feel fresh and effortless even within the highly saturated webcomic community.

The reactions to his comics can be just as surprising as the jokes themselves. Brian recalled to us, "There was a series about horror movie tropes that took off on Reddit a lot better than I ever would have expected. That was surprising. The biggest surprises are, unfortunately, when some people just want to attack an idea because they have specific opinions on that ('It is okay to poke fun at A, B, and C, because I don't care about those, but you made fun of D and that is unacceptable!')."

To be fair, "Dracula" means "Little Dragon", a cute nickname for a guy whose dad was "THE Dragon".

That is ME! Without any regard for how much sleep I have already gotten in the past 24 hours, if I LAY DOWN on my couch with a blanket and pillow, even if I try to watch a show I am very interested in.... Out like a light.

For people under 40 who have no idea what's going on here, this is spoofing the 1992 movie "Lawnmower Man".
