With light purple walls, pastel cabinets, a flower wall, a hello kitty microwave, and colorful paper cranes hanging from the ceiling – the apartment reflects Mucciolo herself as she’s often rocking things like rainbow braids, colorful clothing, and glitter makeup. “It’s really important to me that where I live is a reflection of me and my personality, and also of my husband,” Mucciolo told Dailymail. “We like for our space to be fun and happy and inspiring.” It’s no surprise the woman is inspiring over 161k Instagram followers every day! Share on FacebookYou know, at first I thought "Rainbow apartment? That could never work." But she pulled it off very well! She's got some serious interior design skills!!
it's actually fairly well appointed. I was scared it would be an onslaught of colored knick knacks and abrasive combinations. But she keeps the motif well, and the apartment is cluttered. i pretty much just want to slap her apartment on a pile of ice cream and nom nom nom. Well done fashionista.
Then she checks her lease and realized she wasn't allowed to paint the walls.
and can we take a moment to appreciate her hair too? i mean.. WOW. especially when it's in buns <3
As a girl, I like it because it's the ultimate girly apartment. But it's kind of hard to picture a man living there.
I think secretly many men would love, just would not like to admit! :)
Load More Replies...I wouldn't choose that for my house, but I don't necessarily dislike it. Also, great hair.
That rainbow wall with the splatter paint? Yeah, I actually gasped when I saw it because omg it is too damn cool. I want it. I also appreciate how the gray subway tile backsplash sets off the bright cabinets (also, the tile itself is really neat -- all gray marble, but different marble patterns? Super cool).
I am not a girly girl even a little bit, but I absolutely love this! Awesome job!
So pastels are not my thing and even I love it. What I love more than the colors (and oh my I love her braids) is that she did what I think many of us want to do, but let practicality get in the way. Think of how we deck out smaller places like our work cubes, man caves and she sheds, bathrooms etc. She is letting her joy shine through in her entire living space! It makes me think "what can I do to add joy to my living space [landlord approved]"
Beautifully done! She has color everywhere, but shows restraint in applying it. I can imagine how much she enjoyed putting all that together! :)
She calls this place small? :/ I would love to have an apartment as big as that one. Mine is half the size. But it really looks awesome. Not my personal taste, but all the color combinations are really well chosen. I LOVE that rainbow splatter wall!
It's beautiful because it makes her happy. You should make yourself happy. F**k what other people think. This is YOUR life!
Nope. I can only hope that I can be able to say my opinion around here, even if it's not positive. Lol. My head would explode and implode of all this candy colors situation. And I work in theatre all my life. :/
I wouldn't like to live in it but for temporary eye candy it's freaking amazing.
Load More Replies...I love the walls! And the kitchen too. Other is too childish for me. I painted silimilar but simpler painting on my daughter´s room few years ago. :-)
As a member of the color-blind community, I really appreciate this! "Subtle" colors are really lost on me, so it's nice to see something so bright that I can appreciate it :)
I loved her for the rainbows & then I saw the little Karl Marx statue underneath the TV and I loved her even more ;)
I love it!!!! You can never be sad in this apartment!!! She has amazing taste....
That would be awesome until I had a headache or a migraine or an anxiety attack. I feel like my sensories would be heightened
lovely :) really not my style but looks just adorable, great idea for a small place. Also looks super tidy :)
I feel for her husband living in such a extremely feminine Apt. I feel for him, that's crazy.
I love love love it! I also love that amazing green couch! Where did you get it? :)
I love her walls. I love her hair. I love her dog. With this much color in her life, how can she ever be sad?
I love all those pastel colors! I personally won't decorate my house that way but I appreciate colors because it makes the house feel vibrant and happy. The colors work for young women under 30 and single! When she's in her mid 30's and up, these colors won't be the same but I'm sure there will still be color in her place. A little girl or teenage girl will be in love with these colors in her own bedroom.
I would love to wake up to all the colors. I feel it just makes you feel warm and smile and isnt that how your home should always feel.
a lot of colors together in one apartment. It's fantastic and crazy :)
My favorite is the living room. I love it all but the living room area is just so.......wonderful ! The colors, the flowers, the cranes, the coffee table.....
What is the flowers in the flower hanging made of, paper or cloth material?
This would be anybody's happy place. I love her and her idealism!
Awesome! I'm not into pastels---jewel tones are my style. However, I applaud her joyous experience of color--fabulous! I'll certainly be taking a cue from her painted walls. Awesome texture and very doable! I love her use of pompoms--I made need to integrate those in my magical world. PS...I use sequined fabric and colored glass in my magical worlds. scarves-wi...20614e.jpg
She looks amazing! I love her hair and I would seriously slaughter to have her apartment/home. It is beautiful. I thought that I wouldn't love the kitchen cabinets but everything goes perfectly. The only thing I could complain about is the Care Bears above the cabinets.
I LOVE it, but where is the husband's representation? Unless he's just riding the "happy wife, happy life" train, I don't see a single masculine element anywhere in that house (admittedly, from a stereotypical perspective).
All of that color would make crazy in 2 days or less, but she looks so full of joy I can only be happy for her.
love the christmas tree. I once had a pink feather tree with cupcakes and martinis. in other news, I'm going to contact-paper my refrigerator, RIGHT THE F**K NOW!
LOVE the pink christmas tree. I have one I kept year round for a while- pink feather, with cupcakes and martinis. in other news: I'm going to contact-paper my refrigerator RIGHT THE F**K NOW!
It worked because the colors were soft, pastel colors instead of bright, harsh colors.
I really like the apartment...but the whole time I'm thinking...LOVE her hair! lol
Meet a girl. Have a drink. Have a laugh. Go back to her apartment. See this... O_O I think I'd have a heart attack. But then I'd have to accept that she has a good taste for furniture and combination, regardless of the coulourful palette that it's definitely not my style.
Love the no blind ...u can see outside but nobody can see u 😍🤘 beautifull black woman in the rainbow color ...just love it 😉
Hmmm I find the floors kinda plain. ;) kidding aside: Must say that, although not my taste, it looks surprisingly nice. So much color yet still relaxing and balanced. Nicely done.
I know you said you were kidding about the floors, but tbh one of the reasons the rest of it works is because of those plain gray concrete floors. The floor is a place for the gaze to rest as a nice calm balance to all the wild colors. The apartment would be overwhelming to the eye if they had a bright floor or a ton of colorful rugs everywhere.
Load More Replies...This is actually really good! I thought it was going to be over the top but it looks AMAZING!!! (^ o ^)
Not the look I would choose but her choice was tastefully executed.
Genius, empowering, beautiful, energizing!!! Thanks for sharing the love of color, mind, emotions, and home! We can have it all!
God her eye for aesthetics is unreal. If I had tried to design a rainbow apartment it would look like a monster made of skittles just threw up and shat everywhere.
omg same. I mean, I have a good eye for color in regards to finding shades and hues that work well together, so I figure that the colors I picked would at least be harmonious, but my interior design skills? Yeeeah, no, not so much. The place would probably end up being either "too" or "not enough" and would end up just looking awkward.
Load More Replies...I love how you are grouping objects, by theme and pulling colors. BRAVO! In every apartment I have ever had I've always had to paint back to white. I could not live where I could not paint - that would be a soul death!
I really liked the kitchen. Especially the kitchen cabinets! Loved the pastel colors. Really very creative throughout the whole apartment. I really enjoyed the tour of your place! Thank you for sharing. ;)
I would just hold the tied end of each fringe and use a vacuum on the loose end. Yeah, it would be a pain in the a*s because you would have to vacuum one tassel at a time, but I don't really see another way around it.
Load More Replies...So she lives in downtown LA, how much would a place like this cost to rent a week?? In downtown Melbourne, AUS she'd be looking at $400 to $500 a week.
It's pretty, but I certainly wouldn't want to live in it. Way too busy.

I've been married 41 years, thank heavens my husband is used to me!!! Lol 😂

I'm curious where does it say she's leasing... she could completely own it. It's fabulous !

What a happy place! She's used a lot (!!) of colour & yet it's still livable! Possibly because ALL of the colours are not really intense & overpowering. She must wake up thinking that she's still dreaming! :)
