Puppy Was Left To Die After Falling Into Hot Tar, Until Miracle Happens
A puppy who had fallen into hot tar and got paralyzed from head to toe was lying on the road just waiting for its death to come. Some people passed by the pooch, but as the tar made the doggie unrecognizable, the puppy was ignored, until one kind-hearted person heard the dog’s cry for help. The savior immediately phoned India’s Animal Aid Unlimited and help was on its way!
When the volunteers got to the scene they were completely shocked to find the dog in such a bad condition. “We could see his eyes darting back and forth in a panic, but otherwise he couldn’t move a muscle,” spokesperson for the animal rescue, Claire Abrams told told BBC. But, with hard-work and dedication, after scrubbing the dog with vegetable oil for 3 hours, the tar was finally removed. Everyone was happy to see the pooch emerge from what was essentially a pile of black muck.
“We were waiting for him to completely recover before going public with his story,” Abrams said. “We have now released him back into the community.”

How the hell did he fall into hot tar? Are there just large pits of hot tar around India? Okay, I just looked it up, apparently it was around a construction site. I feel like that was a sort of important detail.

Different countries have different attitudes, and while this may seem shocking from a first world perspective, I suspect the resources that are available in India in terms of shelters, formal adoptions, and so on, are extremely limited (in fact in places with a large stray population people looking for a dog tend to adopt straight from the streets), so releasing the dog back to the community may have been a better for him than an overcrowded 'refuge' where adoptions are rare.

Yes. This is India where there aren't even enough resources to care for all the people, much less all stray animals. There are organizations that care for them but shelters are full, so if a dog is otherwise ok and used to fend for itself it'll be put back on the street (which I think is a better alternative than a live in a cage)

Why do humans continue to mistreat animals and children, is it a detriment in their brain that allows them to do such horrible things? I'm glad some of these animals and children have been saved by those who care, and I pray for those who are not.

Animals have to most cutest looks! That dog might have been covered in tar, but it still looks adorable! If I was at the pound to adopt a pet, I'd get the one that has been through the worst. Not the prettiest one! God bless this person who spotted this dog and decided to save its life.
