:) Me and my partner met just after highschool, when I was 18. Got together on 10/10/2009, and we're marrying on 10/10/2019. :)

Most of these photos were between 5-10 years apart from the dates listed... which means these are HS sweethearts that stayed together AND waited until later to get married. *heart's growing bigger* there's real statistical proof that if you wait until at least later 20's you have much better odds of the marriage lasting

I love how so many of the women in these pictures haven't changed much looks wise, they look so young and beautiful. Where as the men have really filled out and look so much more mature than the high school pics.

I've been having wedding fever for the past two weeks, so this really didn't help... Look at all the love!

Then there's me knowing whoever I go to prom with won't marry me or anyone else for that matter

They didn't have "proms" at Richmond Adult H.S. in 1971...

I've always noticed that while guys may want to DATE the hottest chick in high school, that's not who they marry. Or, as my husband -- who worked in a pretty business (TV) always says -- pretty is just that. Pretty. After all, there were lots of pretty ones, but somehow, he married me!

I'm in this club too!! I should dig out the prom pics and post one.

Wonder why it took so long from prom to wedding in some of these. I had a friend that said her boyfriend of 4 years proposed and she said she wasn't sure if she should say yes. I said..then he's not the one. Before we married, I knew my husband a total of 7 weeks. From the time we first met..I knew he was the one. We celebrated 29 years recently! Sometimes it may take a while to get to know someone. But if you have doubts about marrying..then you need to keep looking. There is someone out there that you are meant to be with. And you'll find them when you least expect it..and you'll know as soon as you meet them that they are the one.
