I completely understand. I lost an ovary to tumors from extreme endometriosis. The tumors keep returning. This time they were all over my remaining ovary , my uterus &bladder. The hormone treatment made me so sick.I have reached a choice. Continue the hormones , which are not even a proven method , or get my uterus removed , which will cure me. I tried the hormone treatment for months. Migraines. Vomiting . Hair loss. It was bad. So recently , I made the choice to get my uterus removed. Because the tumors will return , as they always do. And while losing my uterus means I will never bear children , keeping it is risking me losing my only ovary, which would leave me unable to have children and require me to be on those dreadful hormones for life. It was a very hard choice. I cried and cried. But I'm finally content with it. I just close my eyes &picture me after my uterus is out. Never again suffering these dreadful symptoms & never again having tumors. ❤️

Beyond anything you can imagine....the pain, exhaustion, love, joy, triumph......the emotions are endless......but when your baby is put on tour chest....... pricless instant unimaginable forever real pure true love.

As a Momma of four, now grown, children, I will tell you that LOVE means nothing until you have a child and then even more so with grandchildren. I fell in love 4 times with my kids and then fell MADLY in love with my Grand Daughters. Nothing better.

I am honestly sorrowful when I hear anyone say they can't have children. Pregnancy and child birth is truly an amazing journey. What I found to be even more amazing? My grown daughter giving life/birth to my grandchild. Nothing can prepare you for that journey!

As a woman who can't give birth I totally understand. I hope one day I'll adopt as well.

Perhaps a relative or friend will ask you to be present. I'm an adoptive mom and I was with my daughter when she gave birth to my granddaughter!

As a transman who doesn't even want to adopt children, this has only solidified my opinion in never wanting to be around a person whom I may have to help in the birthing of a child.

Adopt adopt adopt. They need families too! Not all women want to plop babies out. Some of us want to use our compassion to bring happiness to a child that isn't a part of us, but is our child all the same. Anyone can give birth, but not everyone has the mental and emotional strength to take on a child that isn't theirs.

So sad. You feel that way..every birth is different.. Mine were quite easy..with no drugs to boot.. Only lasted 7 hrs. of labor with first 2 and M.D. y 3rd, had her in 4.. My last was Csection.. But id rather have them natural any day. Dont let anybody tell you different..natural is better..recovery is quicker.. And its soop worth it!!! Believe in yourself...

It is the most painful ! I had heard women screaming, when a baby was born, in the movies. I decided I was going to keep my dignity and be under more control. (I was terrified) So, my Husband and I attended Lamaze Childbirth classes and did the daily exercises to prep for the event. I wanted no drugs around my baby. It helped me keep control of myself and deliver all three of our sons in less than five bad minutes, each. With the third baby delivered, I got up from the hospital cart and walked some rather long hall to my new Hospital room. You are very weak, at this point. I had support on either side. My uterus went totally back where it should be, because of that walk. I did not ever scream or yell all three times, though it felt like a hot butcher knife passing through my body. No, I just said that maybe I could go home and try this some other day ? What a sweet reward when they hand you that Baby and the Baby immediately knows you and connects. They remember you.
