Artist Reimagines Disney Princesses As Pregnant Women And Gives Dad Bodies To The Princes
Probably most girls have dreamt about being princesses at some point in their lives. After all, who wasn’t mesmerized by the enchanting world of Disney movies when they were a child? But as we grow older, humane stories become more relevant than the life of an animated princess.
Therefore, this lifelong Disney fan, Russian artist Oksana Paschenko, decided to use the little spare time she has during maternity leave and reimagine Disney princesses according to her own reality—as modern expecting mothers.

Artist and lifelong Disney fan Oksana Pashchenko recently blessed her Instagram followers with a modern take on Disney princesses. Inspired by her own pregnancy, she reimagined them as grown-up pregnant women. Furthermore, she even gave cute little dad bellies to some of the princes!

When asked about how she came up with the idea, she said her own pregnancy served as inspiration

“I myself was already pregnant and since it was a magical time, I thought, why not remake the Disney princesses as a continuation of the happy ending to this tale?” she said in an interview with Bored Panda when asked about how she came up with the idea for her latest Disney-related artwork series.

Oksana said she’s been a Disney fan from her early childhood and remembered how her parents bought cassettes full of cartoons when she was little. She then picked up a hobby of trying to copy the characters from her cartoon collection.

Even though she says she loves all of Disney, Oksana admits she’s especially fond of Ariel and Aurora; therefore, they might be her favorites. “I draw as a hobby and do orders,” she said. “I’m on maternity leave now and can devote more time to it.”
As she grew, her affinity for Disney didn’t fade away and she frequently posts Disney-related content on Instagram
