Post-Mortem Fairy Tales Featuring Dead Animals As Fantasy Characters (Part 3)
Our universe of Mothmeister is called “Wounderland”. This surreal fantasy world is where we create our post-mortem fairy tales. It’s not a happy shiny place but the habitat of grotesque, anonymous – and often innerly wounded – characters accompanied by dead mounted animals.
While taxidermy is usually kept inside museums and scruffy attics, we bring the critters back into nature where they reincarnate. Some kind of eternal metamorphosis.
You can find our Part 1 and Part 2 on Bored Panda too.

Share on FacebookThis is really creepy, not very nice to look at, and the animals look pretty much moth-eaten. Nothing here that I woul want to put on my walls.
These are beautiful! I especially like the color saturation & the contrast between the starkness of the environs & the details of the figure
