The King Of The Jungle and The Real Tarzan – these are the names that a wildlife biologist, teacher, and a zookeeper Mike Holston from Miami, Florida, calls himself. His Instagram is full of fluffy, scary, adorable and unique animals that he takes care of because of the endless passion for wildlife conservation that leads him through life.
Inspired by Steve Irwin, who he calls his idol and “the best man to stroll this Earth,” The Real Tarzan uses the visibility he gets for the good causes. He loves to educate people about those animals and often visits schools to teach children. Holston’s daily life might seem completely crazy as he can be seen cuddling with tigers, sharing bananas with monkeys, posing with all kinds of reptiles and many other exotic animals. Scroll down to see how the best job in the world looks like for yourself!

I’m really concerned about exploited animals. Animals stolen from the wild to be utilized by humans fir pets, show, prestige.
Man i'm straight but this picture makes me question myself haha na for real great pic mate.
You'd rather see him in the wild where the animals are untamed and if you even go near one you can get seriously harmed? Nah, I'm good.
Load More Replies...No. The kitty is playing, his/her eyes and ears show that he/she is paying attention to what his/her playmate (the guy) is doing behind him/her.
Load More Replies...I think it's folded down against the palm of his hand.
Load More Replies...awww! the left cat is nomming on his shoe and he doesn't care. awwwwwww.....
awe Id give anything to see and hold one of those in real life...is that a pygmy marmoset?
Woah Nelly! I've held one of these in my arms before! Such a sweet animal, amazing!
Best one ever! And the guy is reaaaly cute. Would like to make a partnership with a biologist?
Cuddling Tiger babies? Sure! Carrying Iguans as a hat? Why not? Giant spiders on the head? NEVER!!!
Yes, he does. The way he flashes his teeth looks aggressive, yes, but his body language shows that he feels comfortable and secure. He's just a cub, he's playing.
Load More Replies...This makes me think of the ball sack chin episode from South Park lololol
Snake: Mostly I'm afraid of people, but this one is adorable!
Load More Replies...How many 1, 2....3eere, yikes I'd get a panic attack thinking those pythons were in the process of constricting😲
They don't constrict humans, lol. I've had over 30 Pythons (currently have about 10), and they just grab on for stability - no interest in squeezing us, don't worry.
Load More Replies...Dude please tell me you are certain you know everywhere that little finger has been. Baby humans and baby animals are soo cute but those little fingers do some preetty gnarly things. js
No one who spends a lot of time with either would give a damn where the fingers had been!
Load More Replies...I'm just out here walking my snake. And no I haven't seen your dog either..
Careful with this one, this is similar to the animal that took out his idol.
(Sorry, I don't remember what these monkeys are called) Monkey #1 "LOOK AT ME!!!!" Monkey #2 "Frank, please, cut the s**t out..."
snakes really seem to like me. especially lucky the corn snake hes so cute!
Uh... is it just me or the temperature here just rose 20 degrees or so? *fans himself*
I think this dude should leave animals in the wild instead of profiting off them.
"Holston currently works as a manager at an exotic reptile farm where he saves, buys, breeds and sells exotic reptiles, amphibians and sometimes mammals." Yeah, I don't know how to feel about this. The exotic animals he buys, where do they come from?
Load More Replies...I think it's important to support animal conservation, but touching the animals like they're pets may not be the best way to ensure their well being! Thankfully, it seems like the animals photographed seem like they're in pretty good shape!
This is great, but wildlife rehabilitation is even better. Yes, you can't take cool selfies, and you work with more skunks and squirrels than monkeys and bears, but you are saving lives and returning them back into the wild :)
