My 59 Photos Of People With The Most Creative Costumes And Makeup Spotted At Rio Carnival
For years now, I have been photographing people during the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. Despite what most people know, the best part of Carnival is not the samba schools, but the street blocks where people put on costumes and makeup, and party all day long.
Being a participant of the Carnival in the street blocks for over 20 years, I created a project called Humanos do Carnaval (Humans of Carnival), and for 5 years, I have been taking portraits. Hope you enjoy them!

youth and indestructibility and the flavor of Carnival. What beauty abounds....they were all lovely. So many of them look like they are having the time of their lives, captured forever.

Don’t worry I’ve had a full face of Glitter all you use is a face cloth and it comes right off (a*s long as it’s not fine glitter)
