Artist Recreates 31 Famous Characters From Pop Culture As Real People (New Pics)
One could probably agree that some kids' TV shows have left a very big influence on our lives, and usually the cartoons we watched when we were children remain in our memories for many years to come, even if it’s just some parts of them. Some people's affection for certain characters can be really strong, and in most cases purely nostalgic.
One particular artist has been spending his time in lockdown quite productively. Hossein Diba, an artist from Turkey, went a step further with his unique creations (or should we say re-creations?) by reimagining some of the most popular pop culture characters as (almost) real people. Reimagined characters from The Simpsons, Spiderman, Toy Story, and even Rick and Morty are now part of his portfolio, but of course, that’s not even half of it.
However, it’s not the first time the artist has been on Bored Panda. Previously, we made a post featuring the artist’s work where he rendered well-known characters from The Simpsons into their 3D forms, and oddly enough, some of the results could’ve been referred to as “cursed” images. You can find the first part of the artist’s work featuring the characters from The Simpsons and more by clicking here.

In his day-to-day work, Diba’s creations revolve around modeling, sculpting, shading, and texturing characters for popular video games, cinema, 3D prints, etc. His work, even as a freelance artist, requires a lot of knowledge not only in certain software, but also in human anatomy too, as his renderings are fully 3D and very detailed.
The Turkish freelance artist has been working on different projects since 2008, helping them develop and grow as he worked on various characters and creatures. His most recent project was with “CD Projekt RED” as he worked on the original characters from Cyberpunk 2077.

Joe Gardner From Soul Movie
However, his most recent project only developed due to him having an extra amount of time during the lockdown, as he finally found time to do things he really wanted to work on. Hossein shared most of his creations on Instagram, where he has a recognized fanbase of over 221k followers, but the detailed process of how he made most of the 3D characters can be found on his YouTube channel where he shares most of the behind-the-scenes work.
Bored Panda reached out to the artist.
"I think one of the most unique things about it is that I get to design different characters with my style and show different takes on the same characters to my audience. Each design has its own journey which makes it more fun."

All cool, great artwork! But making the Simpsons real is a mistake! I will have nightmares about this! The only time The Simpsons were made good real was when their did theyself. In episode s05e21 (Granpa marries Marge's mom) we see the Simpson's kids with white skin and 5 fingers. THAT looks good! 👍
Any time someone has attempted to do this with the simpsons in the past it was always nightmare fuel.
