As a Christian (lol considering this article's title), I've always hated the use of that phrase. I do believe in God's will, but it shouldn't be used as a replacement for loving and serving a person, and definitely not as an excuse that a person "got what they deserved". God's will could be many things but it will always involve loving and caring for other human beings (and yourself)

Why not start with dumping holidays that should not be celebrated like Columbus Day and celebrate the pioneering people of all cultures all the time. More awareness should be made of Native Americans. They have been more persecuted than African Americans ever have and still are.

Why do we have to exclude any group or include any group? History is about all of the beings that populate our planet or were eliminated from our planet. Learning opens doors that benefit all of us. Some people are just trying to survive on our world. Shouldn't we know about them?

see the thing is though that during the months that aren't black history month. THE SKIN COLOR OF THE PERSON DOESNT F*****G MATTER. That's why having a black history month is racist. as soon as you start separating out holding one in more importance than another that's when you get supremacy. The other months are just history, yes it's true that for most of that history white people were in control, that's just how it was and it was wrong we are changing it but to focus on color is wrong. Racism is taught if you stop teaching about race and just teach about people racism would be gone.
