That's not just a bruise, it's a haematoma.

The color progression is astounding. Looks painful as hell though.

I had a right and left heart catheterization procedure, it left me with a bruise like that from groin to ankle, finally ended going out my toes.

What did you do to get a bruise that big?

I had that happen to me . Medication I was on caused me to bruise that severely took 5 months to disappear.

Next time - try using Arnica Ointment - helps a lot.

Ohhhh, this looks familiar! After my total knee replacement surgery, from the knee cap on up & all the way around, and up to the middle of my hip I had the most horrific looking contusions that I *never* want to experience again. 😳

When... Sorry, DV alert here. But when I'd been attacked? I said to the police to come to mine to photograph the bruising in a few days. Like, 2 days, maybe 3 and you'll get some cracking photos... And yups they did..... Its - Deep Bruising.
