50 Pictures And Posts That Made It To The Online “Gallery Of Inexplicable Stupidity” (New Pics)
Those who say nothing is infinite clearly haven't considered human ignorance. Luckily, the subreddit r/facepalm has plenty of examples to convince them.
This online community (which also calls itself the 'Gallery of Inexplicable Stupidity') unites over 6.4 million members, and they're constantly sharing the dumbest statements and actions they've witnessed both online and in real life.
So continue scrolling to dive into delusion, and if you want to explore it more when you're done, check out our previous publication on the same subreddit.

If, however, these pictures get to you now and make you want to click away, I'll argue to go even further, turn off your browser, put away your phone, and disconnect. After all, it's the weekend.
Sure, taking a walk outside without scrolling might seem dull. But you might be surprised where you can end up if you allow your mind to roam free. "Boredom is a symptom, not a condition. In other words, no one is born bored. It arises due to certain conditions," Manhattan-based psychotherapist, speaker, and author Sean Grover told Bored Panda.
"Underneath boredom is always frustration. When frustration is met with passivity, boredom is a natural outcome," Grover, who has 25 years of experience working with patients in group therapy in clinics, schools, and health centers, said.

Do You Consider This A Human Being?
The psychotherapist said that boredom is often close friends with feelings of hopelessness and helplessness. And the best way to cure it is a counterintuitive one—surrender.
"Boredom can trigger enormous creativity when we tune in to the underlying frustration and come up with creative solutions," Grover highlighted. "Many inventions came out of tackling boredom and resolving it."

To illustrate this point, the psychotherapist provided a real-life example. "I work in therapy with a young man who was working from home during the pandemic. He became incredibly bored with his daily life. Through exploring his feelings in therapy, he decided to start playing the piano again."
"He began practicing, and later joined a jazz quartet."
"Now it is one of the most rewarding things in his life. He plays in clubs throughout Manhattan and invites his friends."

As Grover pointed out, that whole thrilling journey started from unpacking boredom and coming up with a creative solution. Something that has become increasingly rare in our loud world.
With stimulation right at our fingertips, our tolerance for being bored has greatly diminished.
In fact, two-thirds of American adults routinely look at their phones even when they're not making a sound.

In one study, published in the Academy of Management Discoveries, researchers lulled a group into boredom by instructing them to sort beans by color while they gave another group a far more interesting craft to do. Afterward, each group was directed to come up with good excuses for tardiness. The bored group bested their counterparts on both the number and creativity of ideas, as evaluated by objective outside judges.

We Did Everything But
How Is This Possible
Another study concluded that boredom motivates people to seek out novelty. Our minds simply wander when we're bored, and we think of new things to try.
The goal, according to Grover, is to dig into the boredom and ask ourselves what is the message it's sending us. "Are you creatively stagnant? Are you lonely? Does your body need exercise? Are you engaged in enough stimulating activities? Are you trying new things?" the psychotherapist said there can be many.

"I encourage people to explore boredom in therapy and consider it a message from their own subconscious," Grover said. "The message is often that they want to lead a more satisfying life."
"Then, pursue new passions with gusto!"

When You Take The Job Before Reading The Job Description
I wonder if the children in the school felt any reluctance as they were being shot?
Yeah, it's better if he shoots kids, after all, he came for them, not the cops. Stupid cowards.
How pro-life are you again? Real children are getting murdered by a real murderer
They even arrested one of the parents who tried to get in, after she got out of her handcuffs she got three children and an entire kindergarten class out.
They also physically detained one of the officer's who's wife was a teacher bleeding out on the floor from being shot, he tried so hard to get in the room but they stopped him.
Load More Replies...Despicable cowardice - those were KIDS for shish sake! What about the oath you swore?
Funnily enough (a very specidic kind of funny, that is), policr do not actually take an oath to protect people. Look it up - they are not required to save anyone. Their job is to uphold the law. Look i up - it is totally weird
Load More Replies...Unlile those cops, they usually care about their kids (edit:still a TERRIBLE idea to get more guns into the world.)
Load More Replies...One of the parents snuck into the school, got her children out, got an entire class of kindergarteners out ( Who are very hard to wrangle by the way) and still the cops didn't enter the classroom or the shooter was. that mother is a hero. She saved at least 19 innocent lives. There's 19 innocent lives that were lost in that fourth grade classroom, 19 innocent lives were saved by that mother in the kindergarten classroom. That mother did more than the freaking police
I cant even with these dumb fu(k$ anymore ! They want guns to protect themselves and won’t use them when they should ? Ugh it’s too much !
This gunman wasn't running away, so they wouldn't have known where to aim. /bitter sarcasm
Load More Replies...Looks like we need regular people to handle this...since they are the ones actually stopping gunmen lately. All the police know how to shoot are unarmed black people.
They didn't become cops to put their lives in danger. They became cops so they could swagger around in their tactical gear and bully civilians.
They got a lot of buts in there... "But what about his gun?" "But the body armormight not hold.," "But I don't wanna!" ...🙄
Load More Replies...Sorry, the firefighters couldn't save your family because they didn't want to risk any burns.
If you think that police have the obligation to protect you listen to the episode 'No Special Duty' from Radiolab.
Sadly the oath doesn't matter, it's legal for a cop to put his safety first, they are not "obligated" to protect anyone. If you watch the hallway video those cops were armed, had vests and shields, they were just f*****g cowards.
I have always supported all law enforcement. But the example those "law officers" set is simply disgusting. One father had courage, the rest acted as craven cowards.
Also police: "I shot an unarmed Black man because I was protecting society".
Police divers were reluctant to submerge themselves because 'they could've drowned'. Police helicopter crew were reluctant to fly because 'they could've crashed'. Police canteen cooks were reluctant to prepare meals because 'they could've got burned'. Police dogs were reluctant to bark because 'they could've been told to come here and sit down'.
You know what public servants never say "I feared for my life? Firemen.
So much for the NRA slogan "The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun." The best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is for a good society preventing him from getting the gun in the first place.
This whole thing makes me so angry. Just let the freaking parents in! They'd take care of it!!
Might as well have sent in a truck load of postmen. Same reluctance.
What got me most was a video that showed police hanging out in the hall, with the sound muted... of the children's screams. The cops heard it though.
And here I thought that possibly getting shot was actually in the job description!
My husband is a former police officer.... when he heard about it on the news he was shocked and ashamed... He never waisted any time on getting the job done, even if that meant his own life could be in danger. "It's your job, so you better do it!" He's been in many dangerous situations because of that but also because of that, many other people weren't any longer.
These police get paid to protect yet they were pussies and let the children and teachers take the heat. 🥸 clowns
Yes! So in their fear to do their work and save those kids, they let the kids get shot and killed, or play dead in the blood of their friends. Every last one of those cops on the scene, needs to be fired and the parents need to sue the crud out of the police department. All cops know that possibly being shot, is part of their job! What about all that bullet proof equipment and shields???!!! They didn't think to use it!? That is a p**s poor police department. EVERYONE NEEDS FIRING AND THE MAYOR NEEDS TO FIND NEW MEN FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT THERE!!!
They did not risk their lives, they broke windows of other classrooms to get those kids out not the room the gunman was in. Following orders excuse doesn't fly, Pete tried to order border control to not go in but they were like f**k off and did it anyway. The hallway video shows the officers fully armed with vests and shields just standing there, one was just even casually sanitizing his hands, how is standing in a hallway for 77 mins causally talking, sanitizing hands and not even checking if the door was locked risking their lives? They had ONE cop defy orders to because his wife was bleeding out from being shot, they could have said f**k the orders like that cop and border patrol did but they didn't because they were cowards there is no excuse for their inaction. Cops all over the country who have been involved in mass shootings have said themselves they should have took action, that there was NO excuse for not doing it

Yep. The question about whether easy access to guns is good or bad for the country, or makes us safer or less safe, is purely political. 🙄
