There is nothing more special than spending the day in a field of flowers with the sun shining, dogs playing and pup parents laughing and making the best memories.
One of my favorite things in the spring and summer is visiting fields of beautiful flowers and the other is photographing dogs...why not pair them together?

Very early on in my dog photography journey, I admired a dog photographer who used bright beautiful color in her photos...she became my inspiration. I started in the tulip fields with my first dog and was amazed with the colors that were captured through my lens and the beautiful experience the owners and dogs had together... I was hooked! Where could I find my next field of flowers!!
Gibson
Such a handsome boy. He reminds me of my childhood doberman Morticia.
Gracie
Huskies are the most vocal. breed. I just adore. listening and. watching them. 💗
Load More Replies...My goal for every photoshoot is to make it a memorable experience for the dog and their parents. If the dog isn't having fun, it will show through in the photo. I take a lot of time to make sure the dog is comfortable with me and my camera... A dried sardine on the top of my lens usually does the trick! Their favorite ball or toy will usually be part of this photo session. It's about having fun!

One of my most memorable experiences is a photoshoot with a dog who would be spending his last day and special moments with his family and myself in the sunflower fields. The time for this family was so special, just loving each other and experiencing this beautiful morning together as the sun rose from behind the mountains. It was magical. The owner of the field knew it would be this beautiful pups last day and let us in before the public. It was a treasured time that I will be forever grateful for and my part that I was able to play in capturing it. This is the main reason why I do what I do... I want to be able to give dog owners a special time with their pups and preserve it in photos for many years to come.

Just remember lavender it not good for dogs nor cats! https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control/toxic-and-non-toxic-plants/lavender edit: also beautiful photo!
yeah it damages the respiratory system for dogs and cats because of linalo i think

Beautiful! Almost looks like the surrounding area is fake. Must be how the sky is cropped.

*sigh* at this point i think they should take their dogs to the vet just to be safe
it harms their respiratory system bc it contains a compound called linalool

Seriously, I saw your comment earlier and at this point I think all dog owners should do more research.
Load More Replies...Just because there is all this beautiful lavender doesn't mean they're going to eat it.
I know, right? Seriously, I doubt the photographer fed the dog lavender. We've had lavender & dogs and they never ate it or even wanted to.

We had a dachshund named Ginger that lived until 15. She was just the most stubborn, most barky, most absolutely funny & loving girl ever. And she loved the two dogs we had after she came along. I'm convinced that her little brother, Snap, mourned himself to death.over her. (Get it? Ginger & Snap 😁)
