By this point, you may know of a phenomenon called "influencers in the wild." The whole idea is that taking a photo may look crazy and weird, especially in an improvised setting, and that's where the phenomenon comes from. Despite the weird process, the end result still looks beautiful just the same. It's a reminder of a common saying that beauty requires sacrifices.
Halyson kicks it up a notch as he records the process of taking his own photos in the streets, in the wild, or any other setting. He posts his videos of the process on TikTok and publishes the photos on Instagram. Sure, the process itself may look strange, but it's the result that matters. And he has 1.4 million followers on the platform to show for it.
Halyson does these types of photo sessions mostly with up-and-coming models. But he also does them with random passersby. One of his videos where he offers his professional help to a couple even went viral, getting over a million likes in the process. It's all good fun. So if you like what he does, make sure you follow him on his social media linked below.

Wow. Who would have thought that you got this picture of a girl holding a car by getting a girl to hold a cat.
If all the influencers would add a cat to their pictures, they would actually be worth following
These are wonderful, i hope people look at these for ideas-like composition. The color is Achieved through Photoshop. I highly recommend playing around like he does, but don't get frustrated if you can't get the colors he does
Agree, I would have preferred it shot at a higher f-stop.
Load More Replies...Even disabled people are beautiful in their own way!
Load More Replies...hahaha, why did they put that match on the left of her? Do you think it was on fire but it blew out?
Love everything about this one except for the plasters / band aids and matches. Maybe I have no taste.
Yeah, not hard to do when you're totally futzing with the colours and also have tools to tell you how close they are.
Load More Replies...I like how beans dont soften her face out instead show their roughens of it because nobody is perfect.
mermaid, but one of those ones with sharp teeth who want to rip out your throat
Pretty but I could never do that I would be terrified to be that deep into the water
I wish he would stop photoshopping all of their eyes. They are beautiful the way they are
Take beautiful person. Put them literally ANYWHERE. Use shallow depth of field. *click*
Mate ur doing that on an escalator. Might be in the way of some other ppl
Cool, it is amazing that a camera can make everything look better than reality
I want that t- shirt!!! Even though I am still in education!
Load More Replies...I don't think that's the look their going for. ;-)
Load More Replies...I like the result but guys, it's not exactly safe to go into derelict places, things may collapse or be infested...take nice pictures but not at any cost.
I wonder how many times that poor woman had to flip her braids so he could get the shot just right. Her poor neck!
Guys are always saying to us females to smile. Like it's our responsibility. I'm not certain if this is the message though.
Load More Replies...Yeah, it almost looks like they are locked together
Load More Replies...Noticed that. Left has nothing to do with the right.
Load More Replies...There was someone else there (who took this picture), that could watch for traffic
I can imagine myself being dumb, and being scared of that thing getting on my eyes
when u make this pic all the sudden ur pasted out and in the hospital with injurys
Just stop making this seem dangerous, these photos are taken by trained professionals wjo would not put their clients in danger.
Load More Replies...Nah. Image may be cool but people taking photos in the crosswalk of a busy street are just assholes.
I remember being at a Q&A with the great Bob Carlos Clarke, he was asked how he had arranged to stop the traffic in one of London's famous roads (Kings Road, Chelsea) to take a shot of models and motorbikes in the middle of the road in the middle of the day. Bob just said...we got the girls, we got the bikes ready and I said "f**k it" we ran, stopped the traffic and started shooting the images. Bob you were total class and the world of visual arts is poorer without you!
They're touched up in an editing program. They're not really that bright or that color, you know, right? It makes a pretty picture but it's not real.
Load More Replies...He's shooting these images with a DSLR, not an iPhone. He's also editing these with a program like Photoshop. There are no human beings with eyes that color blue. I think people should try these for ideas composition, to play around with. But if you don't have an editing program, or a DSLR like he does or an assistant, don't expect the same results and have fun anyway.
I think they are enhanced using Photoshop or something else
Load More Replies...a lot of photographers do this to make a themed photoshoot :)
Load More Replies...wait, is the mug falling above her!?!? she is gonna get some glass shards. If a break a cup my mum would beat my a**
Likely the hand holding the mug was Photoshopped out. Not too hard to do, especially when you know you're going to do it in advance and hold the mug the right way to minimize your post production work.
Load More Replies...Anyone else think it was james charles for a sec? No, just me. okay bye
OK WE GET IT!! PEOPLE ARE IN THE ROAD. THEY BLOCK THE FLIPIN ROAD OFF SO THEY CAN DO THIS!!
Good for him that he cleaned up all that ice cream on him, but I'm not sure wet asphalt is a better alternative.
These are really good. I love how he has enhanced all the colours to make the models' features and the things around them sharper. I mean, all the eyes are so stunning! I know it is down to the colour enhancement but still!
So, what happens is that the photographer takes photos? Did I get it right?
Thanks for this fascinating insight into the photography process!
