I’ve Been Photographing The Robinson Family For 6 Years With Their Kids Who Recreate Iconic Album Covers (13 Pics)
Over the last six years I have been part of an amazing family tradition and it's not even my family! The Robinson family hire me ever so often to recreate album covers with their kids as band members. The oldest was 16 when we started and is now about to graduate from college and the youngest is just starting high school. She was an enthusiastic 3rd grader when we began. Watching them grow through these is so fun.

Queen
Queen II was their second studio album. It was released on 8 March 1974.
Kiss
This was Kiss' 7th studio album.
Madness
It is the 1979 debut album by the British ska-pop group Madness.
The Beatles
"Let It Be" is the twelfth and final studio that The Beatles recorded.
Looking Glass
Looking Glass was a "one-hit wonder". Their big song was "Brandy, you're a fine girl".
The Beatles
When The Beatles were looking at the album art for this record it was being projected on a piece of white cardboard. After they selected the photo the cardboard slipped a bit, tilting the image. They decided they liked it better distorted. So that is what gives this album cover its weird perspective.
The Beatles
This was The Beatles second studio album. Getting the texture on this was tricky but I am happy with the result.
The Monkees
This was the Monkees third album.
My sister Valerie was named after the song "Valerie" by the the monkeys.
The Partridge Family
The family's lovely exchange student was a great sport and took the role of the dog in this photo.
The Beatles
"A Hard Day's Night" is the third studio album by the Beatles. It was so fun getting all of these expressions.
The Beatles
This was the first cover we did and it is the back of the Beatles white album.
The Beatles
"Help!" is the fifth studio album by The Beatles and the soundtrack from the film of the same name.
I'm not sure. Even though their positions are similar, I can't visualize them as the musicians they're imitating via album covers. Maybe because I'm "old" - the originals are embedded in my mind. Possibly younger generations would get it better.
If the boys had to play girls, they’d do it in an ironic, mocking way.
