I'm Moreno and I'm a professional photographer. Everything started a long time ago with a simple photoshoot at a bird show. My friend and work partner Matteo joined me in this passion/madness for chickens and we started to take pictures of literally hundreds of chickens and we created our first photographic book about the hidden beauty of these amazing animals.
And now that the book has traveled so far we asked ourselves… well, what’s next? So we asked the same question to our chicks as soon as we got back to the coop… (Yup, to our chickens!) and... You won't believe it. We put some of these beautiful chickens together and they fell in love, literally!
This work is a tribute to love and diversity because you know, love is love. No matter who and no matter how. Just look at them. They are beautiful and look like real couples in life. And they know it. Eventually, we ended up with enough material to think about publishing a new book. That's why we just launched a Kickstarter campaign.

All they need to complete the look is one of those old school hair picks with the fist fir a handle sticking out of the fro
This looks like my childhood pet rooster named Jose, and his girlfriend Black Beauty. They used to take long walks together. ❤️
They have the most amazing singing, not clucking like regular chickens. Amd lay the cutest little eggs!
This one totally looks like he could be riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle..LOL
I'm not feeling guilty about the dozen eggs I've gone through baking today, but the main course...
lina sister,I love this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's a fabulous documentary called Chicken People, based in America, about people who show chickens. You'd think from that description that it would be boring but LAWDY, it is not; it's fascinating :)
I love this, more chicken posts please ! /Big fan who misses her chickens
Terrific photos of amazing chickens, really enjoyed looking at them.
I used to raise and show poultry and I miss it so much!! (Currently live in an apt) Cannot wait to return to it one day and hopefully also become an APA (American Poultry Association) judge.
My mom used to have some of these "pompom" chickens and while they are very beautiful, I got to say, they are rather silly. The bigger their pompom was, the weirder they behaved, and while I wouldn't put chickens at the top of the intelligence scale, these beauties were the embodiment of "doofus".
I find it fascinating that there are so many different kinds of chickens.
Couples = two individuals of the same sort considered together. In this photos most are just two chickens...
Awesome collection of photos. Wish I knew what breeds and their locations are...for all of the photographs!
I never realised how colourful chickens are until now..beautiful birds :)
(....)"Show The Diversity Of Love" What diversity? They are all chickens!
More like showing the diversity of chickens than the diversity of love. Not that I'm complaining.
All chickens are beautiful. Including my four hybrid girls. We're sad today as our Shelley, half bantam/half black rock died. She was 10 years old.
