    So the close up photo of a fox is actually a close up photo of a fox?

    You can see that this is not the same picture. In the first photo, the fox is actually standing up ... In the second one, it is sitting down ...

    Of course it's no the same picture. But that does not mean it's not the same person, place and animal.

    minimum focal distance on this is like 1.5 meters... I think the actual photo was when the fox was slightly further back

    Makes no sense. The fox portrait is wideangle but the lens is 70-200mm.
