Hi, my name is Phillip Haumesser and I am a passionate self-taught photographer. After 4 years of shooting and honing my art, I created a process that combines everything I taught myself. In short, it goes like this: see, capture, create. Let me elaborate.

awwww this is so sweet and innocent and the lighting is super! great job.
See. This part of the process is learning how to see the world in a different way. Or to have a clear idea of what you want to capture or what would make an interesting image. I started practicing by randomly looking around and thinking about how I could capture an interesting image there.
Capture. When I first picked up a camera I realized very quickly that I couldn’t capture the world the way I saw it. It was very frustrating. So I kept practicing and kept experimenting until I figured out how to capture what I was seeing as close as possible. This was an interesting process because I thought I needed super expensive photography gear to do this. But in the process, I discovered that that was not the case.
Create. Once I’ve captured the image I taught myself how to put the finishing touches on through post-processing in Photoshop and Lightroom. The editing process can be very intimidating but it is an essential part of the process.
I see my work as art and that is why I have this process. Some photographers like to capture it straight out of the camera and do nothing else to it, which is great. That is an art in itself. Others like to create art with just Photoshop which is a lot like painting or drawing your own creation from scratch. I like to combine it all together and do a bit of both.
I hope you enjoy my work. Check out my social platforms to see more, and if you would like to learn my process first hand, take my free course on my website. I teach you everything I know in 24 bite-size videos with 2 hours and 40 minutes of photography awesomeness!
These are so incredible! Nature I think is the best thing to photograph, the light, the beauty, and it raises awareness, these are truly amazing!!
These are beautiful! A few shots reminded me of the film "where the wild things are" :)
