I used to watch my father create amazing photographs of flowers in our garden with a Pentax camera and Kodak slide film. Now; using the same process I set up the same process inside my house and in my garden. The set up was simple. Flash for illumination, and VERY underexposed settings on the camera so that any background detail was eliminated . By using quality artificial flowers to practice and perfect the light, the line between real and artificial became a very fine line.
