Mystery Couple Gets Tracked Down On Social Media After A Drone Photographer Snaps A Stunning Photo Of Them
About a week ago, drone photography enthusiast Antoine Tissier from Chicago was flying his drone and trying to capture the sunset when he spotted a couple having a photoshoot under the Ulysses S. Grant Monument in Lincoln Park. Antoine quickly captured the amazing photo, landed his drone, and tried to catch up with the cute couple. Unfortunately, by the time he reached the monument, the people were already gone.
The professional photographer decided to post the stunning picture on Instagram in hopes of tracking down the mysterious couple. “Unexpected picture of a mysterious #couple we are trying to identify!” Antoine wrote in the description of the drone picture. Thanks to the power of social media, it only took a few days for the photographer to find the couple he captured.

After Antoine posted the photo on Instagram, it was also shared in a few Chicago Facebook groups and aired on WGN 9 News Chicago. And that was all it took for the photographer to locate the mysterious couple.
“To be honest, I never believed we could find them,” Tissier told Peta Pixel. “They could even be tourists from anywhere else in the US or the world, and maybe they were already back into their plane the next day when I posted it online.”
As it turned out, the couple captured in the shot were newly engaged Emily Hartney and Omar Gonzalez

As it turned out, the couple captured in the shot were newly engaged Emily Hartney and Omar Gonzalez. As we mentioned before, at the time the drone picture was taken, the couple was having an actual photoshoot. Surprise, surprise—the photographer who was taking their photos happened to capture the same exact moment, only from an on-the-ground perspective!

“It was so gorgeous and we couldn’t believe our luck that someone else with a drone happened to be in the same spot as us to capture that photo,” Emily told Peta Pixel. “It’s super cool that we were able to get in contact with the photographer, though, now we’ll have two awesome photos from that day from two completely different perspectives!”
