If you're not on God's side you automatically belong to Satan regardless of what your beliefs are. As long as you don't worship God Jehovah, he's content cuz ultimately that's what he wants.

But it doesn't make any sense. Your whole religion is contradictory. Your god is supposed to be all powerful, right? And your prophet said that your god loves everyone. So your god has the power to end everyone's suffering, cure disease and end war and all that, but he just.... doesn't? And he also has the power to let everyone into heaven, but he leaves some folks to suffer for eternity because they didn't worship him hard enough? That's pretty f****d. That guy doesn't sound like the kind of god I'd want to get behind. And I'm not judging you for choosing that religion. If you can reconcile that in a way that makes sense and works for you, more power to ya. Just don't try to sell it to me, or fit my beliefs into the flawed framework of yours. It's not the same. I'm not interested in being inserted into your narrative. Do you and leave me and my folks out of it .

Ahh okay this is were people get confused. See God dose love us. for the same reason we have democracy. Free will. He lets people choose what they can and what they won't do. Getting made at God for allowing free will is pretty much hatting what the USA is suppose to stand for. freedom of speech. or your parents. if done right, they can teach you and guide you in the right direction. but ultimately its the kids will when they reach adult hood to decide what they wanna do with it the real problem is people twist God's actual teaching. and honestly as a christian myself it makes me sick. Nope. The USA and your parents are not omnipotent. As your god is omnipotent, all the evils in the world are his doing, either by act or omission. Cancer is not caused by free will.

Several posters here argue and.... are all wrong. Satan in hebrew means rival. It is literally used as the term for "enemy" several times in regards to human warfare. It is mentioned in the book of Job as an angel who simply had an argument with god. It is by no means a deity in its Jewish origin. The Christianity view of Satan comes from a whole other can of worms. The whole Goat like image is actually based on Pan from Greek Mythology.

Jeremiah is Old Testament, so people who are actually Christian as opposed to just guessing would consider it to have been supplanted by the New Covenant of Grace. Also, Satan doesn't want anything, because he's NOT REAL.

J-A Laine I'm personally Christian but having some trouble with the beliefs right now. So does that mean I'm automatically on Satan's side?!?! I try to serve the people around me and not gossip and all the things most Christians try to do. But I'm not entirely on God's side. So am I on Satan's?!?

lol ok jehovahs witness, have you disowned any of your kids? Been told by an elder to ignore abuse and to abandon your family over a cult?

I live in a small apartment complex where easily 1/3 of the residents are JW. They welcomed me when I arrived, we talked for about 10 minutes and that was it. I know other people do not have the same experiences. We all co-exist and help each other out. Even a group this morning going to a meeting, about 20 or so, waved and said Hi, but nothing more.
