Actually all the differnt pasta shapes each have their own specific purpose. They are each speciallised for a particular task, and cannot be interchanged if you are after the best result. E.g. if you cook lasagna with farfalle (butterflies) the result will be wierd (or actually a wrong interpretation of pasta bolognese), as the plates are what holds a lasagna toghether, so it can be cut into blocks. Some of them, like the shells and cannelloni (large tubes) are actually meant to be stuffed. Each type of pasta will interact with the sauce diffently, which will have an effect on the experience of eating the dish. So yes diffent pasta shapes makes the pasta(dish) taste differently, but the shells are not always the best.

Add some horseradish or hot sauce. Crumble some parm on top. Heck, even a bunch of Tabasco sauce when you have a cold. It's only boring if you're boring, lol

Well, some Mac and cheese isnt good, but some also is great! I for one just like pasta and cheese, so it works out for me

I have one word for Mac & Cheese: filler.

It's atrocious to condition children into liking something that so shamelessly displays the lazyness of whoever is in charge of feeding the family.

It's ok. Boxed mac & cheese is bleh, though.

i love my mum's macaroni and cheese. when i was a kid, i'd see it on kids menus, and whenever i got it, i hated it. they tended to make what was basically pasta in a white sauce with some cheese grated on top, which is not right in my eyes. mum puts some mustard in hers which makes it superior. :P

No-one who even thinks that is worthy of a fight. Good mac n cheese is awesome.

You need to know how to cook it. I'm talking about the cheap, less than $2 box. Salt for the water. Cook as directed. real butter, milk/DF milk, and nature seasoning for the cheese. Mix it all up and cook for a minute-ish Add in noddles once they're rinsed in hot water. You can add in various other stuff but this is the best way to make mac and cheese ☺️

I’ve never had macaroni and cheese. It looks revolting. Oddly enough, I do love all pasta and I also love all kinds of cheese, just not melted cheddar.
