I Was Lucky To Capture The People Of Tokyo In The Boom Of Cherry Trees Blossoming
It was our first trip to Japan. Tokyo was our main and only destination as we didn’t have enough time to visit other cities. I was lucky to capture Tokyo in the boom of cherry trees blossoming, amazingly beautiful they make skyscraperry (is there such a word?) Tokyo look alive.
What about people? Beautiful, stylish and amazing. Being responsive and kindhearted, they don’t let the foreigner get lost. I fought my natural shyness and made photos of Tokyoites.
The girl had a photoshooting with her friend who was both photographer and make-up master. I had to “steal” a beautiful model for this photo

– Can I take a photo of you? – Why? – You look nice
Say hi!
This is one of my most favorite Tokyo photos. We found an office building with a free entrance to the 25th floor. The guy was brushing his teeth for about 15 minutes while enjoying the city view
Serious little girl with cherry blossoms on the background
People are ritually fanning themselves with the smoke in Senso-Ji shrine
I “stole” a stylish woman from her photographer, she posed for me
The guy was spinning a basketball in the park. Asked him to spin it in front of cherry blossoms. He got confused but agreed

The boy didn’t expect to be captured while biking
Enjoying blooming sakuras on Meguro River
Do not be surprised if you meet women in traditional kimonos in April. As cherry trees are blooming, it is a perfect time for amazing photoshoot.

Serious babes in kimonos
I may be wrong, but I think it’s called kabuki performance
Unexpected backstage photo
To the heights and back
Learning how to crawl
Trying to capture every flower
An alternative way of capturing beauty
I disturbed a woman with a photo, while she was drawing beautiful floral ornaments in her notebook
But looks like I did not annoy her much

And here is the photographer herself :) blowing fallen sakura flowers out from my hands (no, I didn’t take it from the girl on the previous photo!)
