Kyrgyzstan is the hidden gem of Central Asia. The moment you visit the rural areas, you will be mesmerized by the beauty of the landscape. Green hills and mountains are everywhere; it is like walking on a Microsoft Windows Wallpaper.

Such heavenly sceneries maybe are the secret behind the cheerfulness of the indigenous people of Kyrgyzstan. Wherever I went, whenever I took the portrait photos, I was always welcomed with a happy smile despite the harsh nomadic lifestyle. Another unique facial feature is the glowing eyes which kept astonishing me each time I look at the face; they reveal the innocence and the modesty of these amazing people.

Kyrgyzstan is a must-visit destination. It is the place where horses gallop across the lush green fields; it is like a living landscape painting that you see in museums and the hotel's lobby. Once you leave, you wish to come back and retire there for the rest of your life. If you need any more convincing, scroll down below to see the photo series I did while visiting this beautiful country.

I noticed 3-4 older women with this same headdress. Is there a special significance?
