So… I Guess There Are No Real Tests For Any Illnesses At All?
Gosh, this is so stupid. And that idiot also completely ignores the fact that a contagious disease might not be deadly for you, but potentially to others around you. The Covid pandemic really brought out the worst in some people.

Maybe he confused the "oven" with the "dryer" and his 100% cotton pizza shrunk?
We all like to believe that we are logical and rational creatures. However, in reality, humans are subject to preconceived judgments that unconsciously influence our decisions.
When we overconfidently think we’re right and can’t seem to accept the fact that we’re not, we’re experiencing confirmation bias.

Which version of the Bible? There's so many to choose from.
One stupid book written by a few controlling, stupid men long before modern science existed and it has successfully convinced legions of stupid people that followed them that the stupid contents of said stupid book were fact. 🤦🏾♀️😣
Not stupid book. The group of men got bored and they created some fantasy. Every part of earth have such fantasy with similar catch-up and views and made rules out of it to threatened species
Load More Replies...biggest ??? because dinosaurs are not reptiles ? they mean biggest snake ?
You have three stupid people talking to each other. The snake wasn't the largest reptile because the dinosaurs were reptiles, and they were larger. Then you have the person that doesn't know that a snake is a reptile. And then the last person that believes that if it wasn't in the bible it didn't exist.
Load More Replies...In my part of the world, some people will tell you that they are either relics of “the Flood” or that the devil put them there to fool us.
Load More Replies...Three. That snake was not the largest reptile in the age of the dinosaurs. Dinosaurs were reptiles and some of them were definitely bigger than that snake.
Load More Replies...(Sigh) The BIBLE is a political anthology intended to keep "Kings" in power by showing that God is the "Kingiest King of all Kings." It has some history, preserved as stories (that may or may not be accurate) and has some ideas that still haven't been acted on. If you're so focused on the Bible... Where's your paddle? (Go look it up, Old Testament)
The second comment is very funny after you’ve read the Bible and realize there’s basically an entire ‘book/chapter’ (or… whatever you call it) completely on dinosaurs XD
I'm Cristian, but I'm pretty sure dinos existed as one of gods creations, they possibly still live in the garden of Eden. Maybe we decided they went extint after Adam and eve got banned after eating the apple the snake tricked them into.
Get your head out of your derriere, and read science literature, then try and make a fool out of yourself, which you already did.
Titanoboa lived Not during the time of the dinosaurs, but in the early Palaeogen, shortly after the dinosaurs.
I find it so difficult to understand people who believe the bible is fact and not a guide. If they truly understood the bible and the power of God, they would realise that man realising great achievements is all due to the way God created them, and vice versa.
To the dude who said read the Bible. I have. I'm a follower of Christ. Read an artist the description of "behemoth" (from Genesis)... tou get a BRONTOSAURUS! Not a hippo, like people believe. Hippos DON'T have a tail as thick as a tree trunk...never have!!
"No kangaroos in the bible. Makes you wonder what else Aussies are lying about" /S
Not only are both comments wrong, dinosaurs are thought to have gone extinct predominately 65 million years ago while the Titanboa is thought to have lived either from the very end of the mass extinction event or evolved a million or so years later so the original article title is a little off as well.
Just how bad is your school education in the USA???!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!??!??!??!?!?!
They didn't live during the time of the dinosaurs either, but close enough... that's the least concerning piece of information, though.
Snakes ARE reptiles though, or at least that's what the Internet tells me.
My mantra as I read these is “Please don’t be American”.
If dinosaurs had been real, the ark would have been bigger than 40 cubits. Case closed... for waaay too many people.
As trusted online mental health resource Verywell Mind explained, “Confirmation bias is a type of cognitive bias that favors information that confirms your previously existing beliefs or biases.”
A cognitive bias is a systematic thinking error that occurs in our minds when our brain attempts to simplify information about our surroundings. Processing all the data available to us takes a lot of time and energy, so our brains pick the details that agree with our pre-existing opinions and knowledge. They act as general rules that help us make sense of the world and reach decisions quicker.

Let’s have a look at an example that illustrates confirmation bias better. Imagine that you believe that Kamala Harris is a better choice for US president than Donald Trump. Chances are that you will seek information that showcases the candidate you support in a positive light while dismissing any facts that might have a negative effect on their image.
"Yep!"
Georgia
That was a problem during the 2020 US elections if I remember. People claimed there was election fraud because of the number of votes from Georgia, the state was too high. People had Googled “the number of people in Georgia” and the country results showed. Where had the millions of extra votes come from?
Stay In School, Kids
Once you're confronted with new information about Harris that confirms what you already believe, you’ll be more likely to accept it as true, overlook any flaws in it, incorporate it into your belief system, and remember it later to support your opinion during a discussion. On the other hand, if the new facts contradict your view of the candidate, you’ll be more likely to get defensive about it, criticise it and forget it later on.

Woke Up To This Conversation Between My Co-Owner And A New Member
Due to our tendency to dismiss data that isn’t compatible with our belief system, it can impair our logic and decisions and lead to poor choices. For instance, if we’re convinced that a certain investment is beneficial for us, we might ignore the red flags saying it’s not. Or if we are set on getting a job at a particular company, we may dismiss the signs showing it's a toxic work environment.

I Don’t Think That’s How It Works
Prematurely? Obviously, before the brain had a chance to form.
There’s no way to eliminate confirmation bias, as it happens due to the natural way our brains work. On a positive note, it can make us feel confident in our beliefs and preserve or build our self-esteem. This also helps us stay certain and secure in our environment.

Today I Learned Oslo Is In Sweden
Even though this way of thinking can’t be entirely removed, we can take steps to avoid it. First, it’s important to accept that we have biases that impact our decisions. It’s in our nature to use mental shortcuts that allow us to make judgments more efficiently, but it also means that we tend to disregard facts that contradict our views.

Then, when looking for information, thoroughly consider all the evidence available rather than just seeing data that confirms your opinion. Use credible sources and read them entirely before drawing any conclusions. Pointing out biases in others (respectfully, of course!) can additionally help an individual think more critically.

"Even if we can't change others' biases, remember they may be at play when we find ourselves in a disagreement with someone who seems very entrenched in their own viewpoint," licensed psychologist David Susman, PhD, explains. "Rather than confronting them directly about how inaccurate or irrational we think they are, it's often more productive to present facts and information in a nondirective way and ask them to consider an alternative point of view or some point of compromise."

Bro Doubled Down And Had The Audacity To Tell Others To “Educate” Themselves
Yeah but no. The UK is a sovereign nation made up of three countries and one province (Northern Ireland). Great Britain is a country made up of three countries (England, Scotland and Wales). This is why, in some sporting events we compete as 'Great Britain & Northern Ireland'. Northern Ireland is NOT a country in of itself. As a British person with Irish Citizenship (Republic of Ireland). I can confirm that this shìt gets veeeeery complicated if you look into it enough... Complicated enough that the OP was neither totally correct... Or totally incorrect.
