My name is Joseph Catimbang, I’m a graphic designer based in California. I started drawing in sketchbooks really young and I have been passionate about drawing ideas for as long as I can remember probably even before I learn to say my name properly.
I had the opportunity to grow up in the province, in a small town located in the Philippines, where simple living is common and farm animals are seen on a daily basis, and where nature is at its best. Just being there helped me a lot to improve myself and inspire me to create unique art.
Capturing everything from where I am and what I see in these black and white drawings and adding some details from my imagination gives my detailed artworks that surreal look and feel.

I think this a wonderful collection and is the type of art which I can appreciate. Many hours of work has gone into creating these lovely examples and deserve to be shared. I must make a note of the artist's name for future reference.

This is soooo Kerby Rosanes! Even he is from Philippines, even he uses the same pens, even he draws amazing animal sketches and even he uses those white fishing figures from that tortoise sketch. Are you sure you aren't him? :D
