Finding suitable childcare can be a real challenge for many parents. Especially when so many Americans don’t hide their suspicion towards their nannies; The Zebra survey has revealed that 4 in 5 Americans would record a nanny or pet sitter inside their home (79%).
Ongoing prejudice against babysitters, and the constant pressure so many parents put on them, all while navigating being a carer, a friend, a family member, and an employee at once is what makes babysitting probably one of the most demanding jobs out there.
But entitled parents make it way worse. Collected from the "Choosing Beggars" Reddit community, below are some of the worst nanny job offers posted online. From totally delusional requirements to offering $3/h for an experienced nanny with higher education, these posts scream only two things: “Run!” and “Now!”

Babysitter Wanted, Must Be In Collage
Don’t you just kind of hate all of these parents?
Load More Replies...Judging by the demands and implied personality of this advert, it makes me wonder, who would want to sleep with this person... four times? It defies logic. I mean, once is a mistake, but four? Wow.
Who says it is the same person that slept with her all four times? Maybe she likes to party and pray on guys being drunk beyond reason.

Anyone Who Has Worked In Childcare Knows She Hit Babysitter Bingo
As I say if you can't afford or won't pay a sitter a proper rate then stay at home and look after your own kids
The type of parents who clearly have no interest in potty training their almost-four year old kids definitely have no interest in staying home looking after them...

But...but...I used to get more than I'm offering you several years ago, prices go down, right?
Yep. When she says they're well-behaved it pretty much just means she doesn't pay attention

I’d love to hear what Judge Judy would say to this!

You will have to represent yourself cos there's not a lawyer out there who would touch this unless he was a shyster. Get a grip you stupid idiotic woman. Jeez I hope to god the father of your child removed him from your custody. You money grabbing fool
I'm sure some shyster would take this... and knowing how things go, she'd probably win. Here in the US, a thief could break into your house, slip on a pile of something, crack his head and sue you for negligence... and win.
Load More Replies...Good point --- maybe she's confused, and does collage all day.
Load More Replies...Finding a babysitter for the very first time is a responsible moment mixed with nervous anticipation and excitement. After all, it’s the person you will be entrusting your child to. And while grandparents, friends and relatives seem like the perfect babysitters for some, in reality, welcoming a stranger to your family is a much more viable option for everyone.
But the challenge is not entrusting your child to the hand of a person you don’t really know but feel good about; the challenge is to find a good one and when you do, keep it in your family. However, many parents often commit babysitting sins, making the job a living nightmare for the nannies.

Sounds like momma wants some action, while daddy is maybe missing in action.
You have an option for “FREE “ childcare that so far every one on here doesn’t have
so... she's not willing to pay... but even just doing some paperwork is "too much"?
hang on, free childcare if your spouse is deployed? that's fantastic! and she's complaining about filling in a couple of forms, child safety is her top priority then, ever heard of "you get what you pay for" or in this case, what forms you fill in! ha
She don't want paper trail at divorce hearing when he gets out of the miltary, and she can't have stay at home lifestyle anymore. She is going out on date night not eating alone lol
Load More Replies...Entitled whiny military wives like this infuriate me and my family (military). And not only b/c she sounds like she's gonna go get wasted and come home too drunk/stoned to care for those kids, then demand the sitter stay over. Been there, seen that. It's why Mom said we moved to the farm or else after she was out. My dad could do his thing, and we wouldn't be around that stuff.
I agree she should just fill out the paperwork, but I don't think this falls into the same category as others near the top of the list. My sister had 6 kids (one adopted, the 6th one a surprise). She was on a base in Japan while her husband was deployed to Iraq. She home schooled, like a lot of military families. She never got a moment's break. That's what people don't get. Even if she was sick, she was up at 6 and spent every waking moment mothering. She loved it and didn't complain, but she became so exhausted that she became really ill. Close to the point of becoming ill, she was probably too tired to fill out paperwork.
Load More Replies...Seriously, there should be some domestic requirements before you're allowed to have a child. Those poor poor children
Wow, if someone didn't want kids maybe they shouldn't have had any. With this ladies concept of being "just done" with paperwork, yet wants a total stranger in her house... it almost sounds like she wants something bad to happen to her kids. (yes, I am well aware that parents need breaks or "me time" too. But this is kind of taking the cake for me)
This Is Not A Babysitting Job
My current boss has literally done this to other staff, deliberately tried to underpay them and push them into collecting Centrelink to "make up the rest, so it'll be just like you're getting paid normally!". She's a cow.
I have a family member go into their manager's office to ask for a raise because their minimum wage job wasn't paying the rent. The manager gave her the forms to fill out for welfare instead. She turned in her blue smock that day and went to work at a gas station working nights paying .10 more an hour.
well heck, Wal-Mart does does the same thing - undepaying their employees to the point that they're eligible for public assistance. If it's good enough for Wal-Mart why isn't it good enough for others?
Since Walmart does this maybe they thought they could get away with it, too.
This is what welfare and social safety net programs do. They create crutches for employers to lean on. They know that low-income people will get TAX PAYER MONEY so they purposely underpay an employee knowing they'll get the rest of their living expense from someone else.
You hot it the wrong way round, buddy. Its not "what wrlfare do" it's what irresponsible, morally bankrupt employers do
Load More Replies...Little things count. Inviting neighborhood kids without adding extra pay, or being late without warning and not offering any monetary compensation are among common faux pas. Some parents even seek to pay their nannies with goods and/or food rather than money. Being clear about payment from the very first day, whether it’s the transfer date or the exact sum of money, is crucial in order not to make it awkward well into the job.
75 Cents An Hour For Babysitting
I had a "friend" offer me $50 13 hour days for 5 days a week. I said no and she was offended
This reads as, I had a kid but am not prepared to give up my sleep any longer. Your that babies parent sort yourself out.
Is CPR certified a big thing in the US of A? I wouldn't want a randomer who's done a short course attempting CPR on my kids any more than I'd try it myself...
Well you cannot kill a dead person, so even badly performed CPR is better than nothing. With a cardiac arrest the minuttes are critical, and in most cases fast CPR is what is the difference between life and death. Even those short CPR courses save lives, so go ahead and sign up for one (it is not that scarry). Saving a life feels really good, and you'll never live with the guilt of not trying at least.
Load More Replies...It's Hard
I babysit my friend's kids without "payment". It's usually done on a benefit in kind basis - I look after her kids for a few hours, her husband (a plumber) finds out why our boiler keeps losing pressure.
That is not free - that is a barter system. You do this for me.. and I will repay by doing that.

We were blessed to have both my parents and my husband's mother living close so we had people willing to watch our kids at no fee. We did things like make them dinner or do a project or chore with them oh, and we always thanked them profusely even when they said it wasn't necessary. But the times the grandparents weren't available? Since we couldn't afford a babysitter we just stayed home. None of this shaming and trying to make other people do it for free
Parents Get Mad At Woman After She Asks $35/Hour To Babysit Their 3 Children
They chose to have kids, if they can't find a babysitter last second then deal with it and take them with you. We don't have family to babysit for us so very rarely have a break from our kids, but that's called BEING A PARENT and is something you do until they're old enough to look after themselves.
Amen My family lives too far away and we do not have close friends where we live now. Guess what? I parent my own children. Old school I know lol
Load More Replies...This person was being very logical. But unfortunately with family a lot of times they don't care about logic, relationship is supposed to be god. So they all flipped out completely ignoring the fact they were asking this person to lose money. I hate that families treat people with no children as if they're not allowed to have needs, preferences, or good pay. I experienced this prejudice at my job, when I had questions about whether I was being paid my true value. My boss went on this rant about "if you need more money to take care of your family, fine, go," knowing I didn't have kids. Just being married and having kids does not automatically make you more important than the next person who doesn't. I say that as someone who is now married. I hope I never make anyone feel like that.
They also seem to be offended at how much money she earns with her normal job.
Load More Replies...NTA. If at 24 you're too much of a child, why in the name of heaven would they want you to babysit?
Paying 35 dollars an hour to someone to take care of the most precious things in your life is ridiculous? You are NOT an ass for giving that number. There is no way I would refuse to pay someone that much to take care of my children just so I could "get out." If I can't afford it, I don't go out. I paid someone to come live in my house for a week to take care of my pups. I gave her five hundred dollars for, basically, living in my house, feeding my dogs and keeping an eye on them. I also gave her 500 bucks for "expenses." She had the use of my cars, cable, internet, our son lives next door and I trusted her completely to keep an eye on my pups and "notice" if something was wrong. I bought her a new laptop and she was able to still go to "private" grooming jobs, and her duties at the house was just for my dogs. I trusted her and did not even consider asking her to do it for free. Oh, and I pay for her dog's vet bills, to this day.
That is absolutely INSANE. I've pet and house sit before, generally I just get love, appreciation, and a souvenir. 0.o
Load More Replies...Girl, you should have upped the price every time they insulted you. You have all my respect, and even more love for knowing that you're an engineer, go and slay!!
Communication is key and not every babysitter can immediately pick up what you want them to do for their child. Guessing games usually don’t lead anywhere, so the first days should be spent together introducing your lifestyle, family habits, things the kid likes or doesn’t, as well as showing them around the house. Making sure you’re clear about routines and expectations will make their job easier and your mind clear.
But experts say communication should not stop at the introduction week. Maintaining a good, healthy bond with your babysitter is key, even if that means remodeling some things that don’t work. For example, if a late return is going to put your babysitter in a difficult position with public transport, then it’s worth thinking how you can help—whether by paying for a taxi, or offering to drive them home.
Looking For An Experienced Babysitter At $3/Hour
This is my first and only son so naturally I'll only leave him with ridiculously underpaid sitters who will grow to resent their job a little more every day.
Why did she have a son if she has a "primary sitter" and is now looking for someone else who can babysit? Does she plan to be with her son at all?

Over time theyre probably not cheaper than a sports car. In 2019 in the UK, the average cost of raising someony just to the age of 18 was £151,000. Thats over £8k every year. Now remember this in in the uk where we dont pay for healthcare, oh and in scotland all public education is free at the point of use(including university). I have seen this one before as well and the babysitter ended up sending the texts to the husband and he ensured that she got paid. If I recall correctly, he wasn't really happy about the amount being paid to the sitter or the way his wife was behaving, but he made sure she got her full pay for the job.
I saw a lady get arrested for walking out of a hair salon w/o paying for services rendered. It's easier for businesses to do that than private people unfortunately. But it's def theft of services. Although the police would prob tell her it's a civil matter and that they really can't do anything.

There should be recourse to getting $ from these types. Maybe publishing a deadbeat parents list ?
I hope social medua was employed to destroy this woman. What an absolute piece of garbage.
I'm Sure That $100 Per Week Will Go Far To Provide The Vegan Organic Food She's Demanding The Babysitter Supply
Little angels they all seem to be. She wants to pay almost nothing the sitter must provide quality vegan food out of what she earns is not allowed to study is not allowed to watch tv. Jeez lady,, do you think maybe you aren't a little certifiable. Your supposed to prize your children over everything yet you seem to value the mighty dollar more. Even a homeless person wanting to keep warm and dry wouldn't abide by this.
Too bad momma isn't well behaved and polite and a little less demanding. Go elsewhere toots!
I appreciate it's the parents' decision, and they need to go with what they're comfortable with, but I hate the "Women only" requirement. I don't know if they're aware, but 50% of biological parents are male.
Stop. Screaming. At. Me. Cheapskate. P.S. Isn’t it funny how ALL the kids are so well behaved lol

I'm in a buy nothing group on Facebook and there were a lot of people asking if someone could go out and pick up some groceries and they could pay them back so that they didn't have to go out of the house with sick kids. There were a lot of people willing to help. No one ever asked for someone to go and watch their violently ill child while they ran off to do their own thing

If you don’t let me shake you down to a bargain price I am gonna tell on you. Parents should stay home and potty train.
This is why I will never have kids. I don't want to end up like these pretentious cockholes.
The "hubby" overuse really irked me. Like, "I'm a selfish parent but look at me being relatable".
Some parents are very lazy with this. You basically just have to put your kid on the potty every time you go in there to start and then every hour or two after a few months. Make it a fun time and praise them for whatever they offer the potty gawd. My son and daughter were trained before they were 2. Pur that cheerio in the toilet for the boy to aim at! I don't get why parents are so lazy. It would make their life easier.

$3.50/hr. Annually $8,750.00 that's the best one yet (and by best one its literally double the hourly rate of others)... take that with a grain of salt.
It doesn't look like to me that the person who commented on her post was actually agreeing with her, she seemed to be making a statement period.
People should learn maths before looking for a babysitter... or at least learn some behaviour
Babysitter Needed: 3 Kids, $2.50/Hr
Good to know her priorities aren’t having good sitters, just desperate ones. Nice parenting.
She may be equally desperate. If she's having to drive to her own terrible $12/h job, she is close to losing money even at that rate.
Load More Replies...I started babysitting when I was 12. I am the oldest of five kids, so I had plenty of experience taking care of kids. I charged 50 cents an hour. BUT I was NOT treated like a live in slave with no legal options. I am horrified to read these want ads. Besides, "professional" babysitters were called "Nannies" when I was younger. A baby sitter was someone who lived in your neighborhood, who you knew, whose parents you knew and who you could trust. Generally a teenager who was working to make extra money. People, today, for the most part, fail to become "neighbors" in cities, they isolate themselves and assume that everyone is "out to get them." For the most part, today's parents are children themselves and playing at being parents.
$2.50 an hour in 1970 is equivalent to $18.82 today, so it's not anything like as bad as it looks.
Paying You To Babysit Is “A Deal Breaker Sorry No”

How Silly Of Me To Assume You Needed A Cat Sitter, I Wonder How I Came To That Conclusion!
I'm confused!! Did she or did she not ask this person to come cat sit in the initial text??? Then to say her cat doesn't need watched as she is quite used to some routine but turns it around that she was offering a play date for her cat and the sitters cat!!!
Yep! It's even highlighted and I still had to go back and read the first text again.

Cat sitting for 3 hours? Here in Indianapolis someone boarded their cat for a weekend, sent their kids to a friend’s house for the weekend, and went to Ohio. While they were gone their house caught fire. Why did the police suspect arson? To quote the officer, no one boards a cat.
Childcare Is Sooooooo Easy, It Should Be Cheap Right?
They sleep and eat all day?? thats the first I ever heard of kids eating while sleeping
This is a great example of how conservatives think. 1) people are lazy, 2) they need to get a real job, 3) you owe me your time because I am not lazy 4) even though my ill thought out political and social views are having a direct negative impact on my life, it's your fault for not taking care of me. I can't afford a sitter but I still need one. So one you lazy butts need to come over and give me your time for cheap.
It’s hilarious how angry they get! They’re so upset and there’s legit nothing they can do because nobody will work for that pay. The parents will have no choice but to pay more or be stuck with the kids. Delicious.
Well if the kids just sleep and eat all day then you suck as a parent and shouldn't have anymore...never mind this whole fiasco of under paying child care.
I pay daycare $385 every week for my 2 year old. It's high just based on where I live, but Jesus Christ. That's 1 kid! I hate paying it but I trust them and it's worth my peace of mind. These people are delusional.
So 9 hours a day for a toddler and two babies, for $30/ Day? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😳
I hate when ppl think babysitting, fast food, etc are not real jobs. (If they were fake job, they'd pay in Monopoly money. Hehe) If ppl got 'real jobs', then there wouldn't be anyone left in these jobs to help everyone else! No one to watch your kids so you can work yourself to pay your bills. No one to make that happy meal for your kids because you're too tired today to want to cook. These jobs may not be what someone wants to do or pay that much, but they are real jobs and definitely serve a purpose to be there for anyone who needs them.
$300 bi weekly, at 9hrs a day = $3.33/hr or $30/day or $7500/year. and with that im out.
Crazy Mom On Facebook Only Wants To Pay $300 A Month For Full Time Baby Sitter
Playing the “I’m in the military” card seems to be very common in the US. Why do you worship the armed services so much (& why do some clearly have no problem taking advantage of the same?). Strange.
I come from a military family in the US. We do NOT worship them. My family is appalled by this crap, and dislikes the whole idea of "military are entitled". No, we do not serve our nation to be treated like we're special... I cannot speak for others, but this is not okay behavior with a LOT of people, including those in the military.

I learned above somewhere that the military actually has free babysit services if you just fill out a couple forms.. ?
It's at limited bases from what I've seen, if there's a need for it and if enough wives/family volunteer for the program. And yes, they have you fill out forms to cover everyone's a**. Most bases do have regular daycare, but that's like 0600-1800 maybe, and you pay according to you and/your spouse's rank.

In 1978 I got $1/hour for babysitting, but it was a different age, I knew the people and I was 15. No way would I take $2.50 an hour now, especially for what is basically a full time job.
Single Mom Would Like To Pay Less Than 2$ An Hour For Childcare
Less than two bucks an hour. I'd do it for free for a close friend or relative in a bind, and have, but for a paid gig this is a joke. Look into subsidized daycare.
I am sure the guy with a van who hands out free candy at the park would love to watch your child for that cheap of a price.
Most schools have an after school/summer program through Boys and Girls Club and the YMCA that are scaled to income…
I mean i would probably do it if she is a single mom. As long as i have better schedule
$100 per week at 10.5hrs/day, assuming 5 day work week so 52.5hrs, that's $1.90/hr or $20/daily
I mean, the kid is 8. If you had your own 8yo, you could just call it a playdate and make $1000 in the process 😆
Wait until your 8-year-old grows up to be an adult. When she is 18, send her back in time to when she was 8. She can then look after herself and you can go off thinking about flying pink hippos or whatever. So, if we compare your advert to my - let's call it a 'scheme' - then it will be pretty clear that my 'scheme' offers a far greater chance of scoring you a babysitter than your advert ever will.
Be A Very Specific Age, Have A Bachelor’s Degree, Be A Nanny, Housekeeper, Teacher And Personal Shopper...and More, All For $13/Hr
What is up with the bachelor’s degrees, i wonder if these idiots know there’s a reason they have one
Ugh yeah you want a cook, housekeeper, babysitter, pet sitter, chauffeur, personal shopper etc for $13 an hour? Is this a joke?
No one with a bachelor's degree would put up with her demands for $13/hour. She's looking for a mother/wife...why even have kids if you aren't willing to raise them?!? They obviously have plenty of money, so one of the parents doesn't need to work they choose to
So if they want a full time person with a bachelor's degree and only $13 an hour, I assume they will be making up the difference with a full healthcare plan and retirement?
Family’s Requirements For A Babysitter Are So Crazy, They Got Shamed For It Online
I don't understand - they say 6-20 hours a week, but it also sounds like a live-in position?
yup, the lucky person gets to live there for free in the 6-20 hours they watch the kid and do housework. And they have to pay 60 $ a week to rent their room the rest of the time. Basically a room for rent (with some strict rules), that is paid for with housework, taking care of the 6 year old and 60 $ a week. Lucky lucky to get that job..

Load More Replies...I'm confused. Why do they need to start work at 2am?!? And no pay, but one week? Huh???
I'm kind of confused on how 5 Jan 2020 - 5 March 2020 is anywhere close to eight (8) months. I mean, isn't it just about 2 months?
Pay My Rent And Babysit For Me Too
You pay them $1500 a month and babysit for them? My mortgage payment is $1000/month, it goes toward me owning it, and no babysitting. No way!
Where I live a 3 bedroom apartment on the low end costs $2,200 a month but most are closer to $2,500 so $1,500 a month would be a steal. It really depends on your area whether this could be a good deal. But the babysitting aspect is weird and too vague on how much babysitting they actually expect.
Load More Replies...In all honesty, I did not understand this one. It did sound like you regularly pay to sometimes live (sleep) in somebody's else place... and babysit, but that is not it, right?
Pay the rent and live there when she is NOT there. She pays the rent when she IS there but you need to leave. Sometimes she'll dump her kid on you too.
For $2 An Hour The Babysitter Is “Terrible” For Just Sitting On The Couch And Making Sure The Kids Are Safe
I'm pretty sure that sitting on the couch and making sure the kids don't hurt themselves is at least 99% of what babysitting is supposed to be? That's all I want from a babysitter, to get back to uninjured children!
Uh… when I hire a babysitter that’s basically what I tel them. “Just make sure they don’t kill each other”
A “Reasonable” Babysitter Willing To Work For Less Than $4 / Hr! Gtfoh!
The only way this could work is if a group of mums got together and all chipped in for one of them to look after everyones kids. I can see taking care of your own kid +3 more for $90 per day, but one-on-one, that's not happening.
I look after one 2 year year old for $30 a day (for 6 hours) but he comes to me between 1 and 3 days a week. Sometimes he doesn't come at all if his mum doesn't work. I also look after two 4 year olds for $30 a day for 4-7 hours, per child, (usually from 9am til 4pm) and $40 for 8+ hours (7:45am til 5pm) per child, in my own home. Parents provide food, sunscreen, spare clothes, water. I provide the toys and entertainment. I look after them for 2 days a week. Daycare is $450 a month for part time hours. So for 2 kids, they're paying $900 a month - and a lot of people here, in Canada, aren't working, or are on low income due to Covid, so me charging between $4 and $5+ an hour is ideal for them, if they're on unemployment.

If it's going to be a group, there are babysitting coops that are free. You get paid by "tickets" or some such per hour per kid you watch someone else's child, and then if someone is available to watch your child, you pay them in tickets. So it's an exchange, but with specific rules. I was in one for several years and it was terrific. I met a bunch of nice neighbors, and we all had occasional babysitting when we needed it without paying for it. But not all day every day, ever! That's just delusional!
My Neighbour. Oh And By "Sit In Her House" She Means Babysit Her Two Very High Needs Children
Babysitter Requirements For 2 Children: College Grad, Cpr Cert, Owns Car, 12+hours, Starts 4:30am. $12/Hr
$13/hr doesn't seem awful for that in some regions. 'Especially if the sitter was allowed to bring their own kid, too. The degree requirement is classist though for sure.
$13 an hour for two kids, plus housekeeping, cooking and helping them with their homework. Trust -- it's awful.
Load More Replies...Don't you just love how they say a degree is required but don't care about what kind of degree that is?
What is the deal with the college degree??? If I had a college degree in anything, the last thing I would be doing after all that work to get the degree would be babysitting!! Are these people out of their minds!!!
'You need to be comfortable with pets' probably means 'We have four very large untrained dogs who will jump all over you and knock you down all the time'
At least they say that they "prefer" those things and not that they're absolutely required.
Babysitter Choosing Beggars; People Should Just Babysit For Free!!
In the U.S., workers are struggling for a livable wage. Note, that's different than a family wage. (Google it.) We used to have ample jobs that could support a family. No longer. We let wages stagnate. $12/hr may be what the parents are getting paid, but it's ridiculous to value a sitter's time significantly less than that.
Not all workers. Just people who work minimum wage jobs and think they should just be paid more rather than do something to make themselves worth more. Big difference.
Load More Replies...Just to highlight that final (fully readable) comment. The high cost of childcare is EXACTLY the reason some mums in the UK don't return to work. Of course this is professional day care costs, not a babysitter on FB. This has/is changing with the introduction of free childcare places for 2 & 3 year olds (the government pays the nursery instead of the parent). When my friend (who had a reasonable paying office job) returned to work after having her daughter, after paying the nursery (which wasn't a high-end one), she had £20 a week remaining from her take home pay. Wasn't worth it.
So, you have children BUT you don't make enough money to afford to keep them. Interesting.
To be honest, I wouldn't pay this much. Not that this person doesn't deserve it, but because my nursery charges £54 per day.
Depending on how the nursery rates are applied, you may also be subsidising the cost of looking after the younger babies. I believe the ratios have changed, but when I (briefly) worked in a nursery, it was one carer to 3 babies under 1 year old, (I've forgotten the 1-3 ratio as I never worked that department) and one carer to eight 3-4 year olds. One senior member of staff per department, but the rest were minimum wage workers like me. So it costs a lot more money to look after babies, because you need proportionally more staff. Let's say minimum wage is £10/hr (to make the maths easier! And I'm rounding the percentages.). One carer works 8 hours. If they are working the baby section, their wages make up 50% of the charge (£54 x 3 babies = £162. Staff cost £80). If they work the toddler section, their wage is just 20% (£54 x 8 toddlers = £432. Staff cost still £80). And that's *just* staff cost, not food, building rates, admin and all the other costs of doing business out of the home.
Load More Replies...my sister stopped working because it's cheaper for her to stay home with her kids than to pay for daycare/babysitting. i'm not saying babysitters shouldn't charge a decent amount for their hard work and time- $15-20/hr seems reasonable to me. I'm just trying to provide a different perspective.
One Of Her Kids Was Killed By A “Babysitter” About Two Years Ago, Too.
I remember when I watched a cat for a neighbor who had one of them doggie doors, she went to out of town for 4 days, the cat only scratched on the back door to get fed, she gave 80$, I didn’t even want to take it, point of the story, someone’s doing you a favor, pay them for their time, this is a cat , not someone’s human children
I Acknowledge I’m Paying You Below Minimum Wage But It’s Still Too Much!!
Thought this couple might have considered how having kids would have an impact on their social life.
Well, traditionally, you would have a 13-15 year old sitting on the sofa watching tv, pay them less than minimum wage, and one of the employers drives them home at the end of the night. And they will still want $10 an hour. You want an adult, who can drive themself, has referrences, car, CPR cert, etc, they're going to have more options.
Delusional Babysitter Round 2
Need A Reliable Baby Sitter
I will pay you next to nothing, but don't worry, I will supply the essentials that my child needs so you won't have to pay for them. ffs
This Is Literally $1 An Hour
Looking For A House Sitter, Rent Is $100
Our cat sitter comes in for about half an hour in the mornings to scoop the poops, make sure the food and water dishes are full and charges $20.00 a visit. I think that's low.
Beggar Looking For Experienced, Professional, Round The Clock Babysitter For Her 10 Month Old While She's On Vacation...for ~$3.75 Per Hour
While I find it completely nuts to leave any child/children home when going on vacation - I don't think that $450 fit four days is awful at all! They're idiot parents but they'd pay well
Terrifying that they're willing to leave their baby with total strangers.

Nanny Job So Good You Should Pay Them To Do It
So you're willing to pay 450 for a sitter but they have to give it straight back to you for utilities???
No, they are 'paying' with a free room, 450 is the amount the nanny has to pay towards utilities... Some people...

WTF is wrong with people? Reading this actually made me feel sick. Kids are a lifestyle choice, if you can't afford to look after them properly, don't have them!
I don't understand why are all these people parents? Or are they just cheap. If I can't afford a decent sitter or daycare while working, then I shouldn't have had 3-4 kids
If you haven't the time, money or willing to give up your life style make sacrifices for your baby, DON'T HAVE ONE. they are not a fad.
And there is no return policy on them, they are yours for life!! Lmao 🤣 i

The fate of the children and humanity, to which it will affect.

In the UK a baby sitter is generally someone who comes at night for a couple of hours whilst you go for dinner or to the cinema! Most of these look more like nanny jobs!
I dunno. When I was looking for daycare you paid what they asked not the other way around.
Make no mistake about it, these people can afford to pay decently. They just don't want to.
